Applications are now being accepted for the position of Bosley.
The Angel's are: Jiao, Isabella and Annacia so if you think you are up to it give us a resume.

Isabella

Great Annacia. Simple but to the point. ;)

I don't see any line at the door! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/silent.gif

OK, so charming. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif That excludes...well, everybody.

What's the job description?

Isabella
10-06-03, 02:35
It looks like pretty slim pickings for tonight so you may have the job. Keep checking to see who your competition is going to be. ;)

Annacia
10-06-03, 02:36
Ladies, he has a point! Perhaps we should have discussed job discription prior to running the ad! What do you think??

Isabella
10-06-03, 02:40
Annacia, I agree but I think I'm going to go to bed. (I have to get up early) But you and Jiao come up with some good qualifications! I'll catch up tomm.

gonga
10-06-03, 02:43
HeHe. You guys are too much. Actually you are the charming ones! You're quite a formidable team so you'll probably have half the forum (you know which half) thinking they're "not worthy!" LOL Good luck... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/sleepy.gif

Annacia
10-06-03, 02:48
It's not quite 8:00pm for me and I'm not going anywhere. Maybe I'll just polish the swords while I wait around :D . A girl must keep up her image after all!

p.s. thank you gonga http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/flirt.gif

After thinking about the job discription thing, I don't think we need one! Everyone knows what Bosley does: he "try's" to shepard the Angel's (hehe).

I think it's just a matter of waiting for the forum population to arrive.

let's see now, so far we have :
3 Harleys with silencer thingies on their exhaust pipes.
1 white Jag with stealth mode
Tai Bo sticks
portable stereo
two swords
one dagger
three backpacks

now what have I missed, hmmmmm

10-06-03, 04:09
I would like to put in my resume for the EVIL ANGEL....who is played by Demi Moore. I dony know if you guys are going by the movie version though

Annacia
10-06-03, 14:12
Hi Croft28, I don't think we're going by much but the seat of our pants!

Angel's: the pickins remain somewhat on the slim side. It's still a lack of population problem so hopefuly choices on the Bosley front will improve as the day wears on.!

I don't know about the job description, but perks include lounging around with off-duty Angels while they feed you grapes and ruffle your hair in a playfully suggestive manner. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/cutie.gif

10-06-03, 21:04
What about the rest of us ladies who would like to play??????????????????????????????????????????

justin
10-06-03, 21:34
Again all I have to say is http://www.smilies.okipages.com/s/otn/laughing/yelrotflmao.gif

Annacia
10-06-03, 22:45
He's only allowed 3!!!!

Angel's, the Bosley search isn't looking so good!
Do we need a Bosley?
We have Harleys and a Jag and all that other stuff. I say "We go it alone". These guys just don't know what they're missing.

Could have been hanging out with US!

Maureen Errant
10-06-03, 23:02
Am I glad Annacia replyed the way she did. I was going to say: Come on, your're 3 independant women, why do you need a man to "guide' you? You don't need anyone to teach, guide, tell etc. YOU GO GIRLS. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:06
Hi Annacia. You are right, who needs a man? What with your boot dagger and my king fu tweezers (not to mention my tae-bo skills) we can take on anyone. Let's give it one more night then go solo by trio. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:08
Grrrr, Where did my fellow angel go?

Maureen Errant
10-06-03, 23:09
I'm behind you 3 all the way. Go and kick some ? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

Annacia
10-06-03, 23:17
I'm here Isabella!. Had to go take cash and the "puter got hijacked!

gonga
10-06-03, 23:18
Madames Annacia, Isabella and Jiao,

I am appalled that no one applied for Bosley. Although I'm 45 and married, I vaguely remember that Bosley was even less sophisticated and debonair than myself (condiderably less, I must say). So if you decide you ever need a Bosley, please know that I would be honored to serve in the company of such distinguished ladies.

Yours, Gonga

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:20
Gonga, You are the best offer so far. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Hi Annacia! Did you take care of the computer highjackers? I'm sure someone had a dagger sticking out of them somewhere.

Annacia
10-06-03, 23:22
:D Thank you gonga http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/flirt.gif

Angels, our first applicant!

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:28
Gonga, you are probrobly perfect for the job. You've got that fatherly figure aura, you are smart, and you have a sense of humor. Who wants to try to top that?

Annacia
10-06-03, 23:49
Maureen did it again!

Anyway, I think gonga would make a fine choice also. Welcome gonga!

Isabella, don't forget to put a silk nightie in the backpack (emergency uniform). I'm takeing scarlet. What color do you like?

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:52
Black, I make sure I have a color black for clothes of any occasion. Including the fun clothes. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Annacia
10-06-03, 23:55
Aces girl! I wonder if Jiao would like white?

Isabella
10-06-03, 23:55
Where did Gonga go? It seems I'm always talking to people who are not on anymore. Annacia where is our third Angel?

Annacia
10-06-03, 23:58
I don't know, haven't see her all day!

Don't have a clue about George. This was a surprise

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:00
Did we miss something?

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:02
It would seem so. Wouldn't you think that after placeing an app gonga would stick around a bit?

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:02
By the way, congtatulations on your 2000 post. You Legendery Member! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/music1.gif

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:04
Aw shucks, I've just been here longer than you, that's all.

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:05
Maybe he's really hoping someone else will apply, and it was a sympathy bid. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:06
Who in their right mind would turn US down? especialy after Jiaos job discription!

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:08
I can't believe how much time I can spend on here. I never knew a body could actually get sore from sitting. I feel like an old spinster when I stand up, my back creaks and I kind of do this lurchy thing for a while. So much for pilates. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:09
Maybe the men are intimidated. Strong women are a bit of a threat for some. ;)

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:10
SSSSSH! don't tell anybody but Draco and I were online together from 7pm till 4am not long ago! Talk about needing a good streatch!!!!

gonga
11-06-03, 00:13
My apologies, I was playing checkers with a four-year-old.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. Understand, I am a busy man with many clients besides the Angels (not to mention I never watched the Angels!), but I will do my best when called on. However, I will gladly step aside if a more worthy applicant should appear. Furthermore, I should probably need a tad bit of on-the-job training since I've never been a Bosley before.

I suppose I should start asking the Dragon if there are any knights to be conquered, that sort of thing?

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:13
It hasn't escaped my notice that even the Dragon himself hasn't dropped in to say hello!

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:13
Awwww, How sweet. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif But it sounds like Draco playing favorites. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

11-06-03, 00:15

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:16
HI gonga, we missed you.

Isabella
11-06-03, 00:17
I don't know too much about Draco, Which probrobly makes him a good Charlie. A bit on the mysterious side, except when it comes to you Annacia ;)

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:19
:D

Annacia
11-06-03, 00:21
gonga, don't worry about the on the job Bosley training. We don't know much about being Angels yet either.

gonga
11-06-03, 01:01

I just realized I live with three ladies! Not you of course, our relationship is strictly business... ;)

Actually, since this is my last week of teaching this year, I'm exhausted too, so I'll be logging off soon.

gonga
11-06-03, 01:08

Isabella
11-06-03, 01:46
That's ok. I think tlr comes on too late for me to be able to play anyway. It just sounded interesting. It still amazes me how people from across the world can interact, especially in a game. But then again I'm still in awe of fax machines.

gonga
11-06-03, 01:48
HeHeHe...sounds like Bosley better start coming up with some percs of his own! :D

There can be more than one Bosley. The combination of youth and wisdom. Experience and the impulsiveness of youth. What could three women want more? So far you two are the prime choices, Unless you want to take it outside and fight it out. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/cutie.gif

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been in the dark ages of technology. It is scarey the way things are advancing, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days my computer says to me "That haircut looks terrible on you. Girl, what were you thinking? Now go change my printing fluid before I delete all your files." http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

gonga
11-06-03, 02:03
LOL Isabella be careful or you won't have any candidates left! Hey it's been fun but I must turn in - I rise at 5am every day and it's 10 here.

Maybe for the first "gig" the Angels can entice tlr to "lose" a copy of AOD. Or steal it.

See ya tomorrow. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/sleepy.gif

Now that I see your posts...Gavman if you pass muster with Annacia and Jiao just go for it! Later

It's been a Day - I won't go into the gory details, but suffice to say it started with vomit and ended that way, too (first The Dog at 7 am, then The Sprog at mid-afternoon - Bonga, does your good doctor wife know of any pukey diseases communicable from canine to toddler?) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif

Jiao, check your PM.

OK Angels...what's the name of that company that produced the Lara rip-off? Sounds like a sabotage job for the Angels. Maybe we can get the other Bosley to alter the master program...to have Lara blow that phoney off the map? Players would near the end only to have Lara appear and take revenge! Ha Ha! Whad'ya say Gavman?

Reality check...gotta go to work. :(

Annacia
11-06-03, 13:59
Good morning Angels and Bosleys :D

I think the missions are suppost to come from Draco. However, seeing as he seems a bit elusive around here (in proper Charlie style!) we might just have to improvise.

gonga, great suggestion but I think we'll have to keep the missions forum based. At least untill we Angels have worked together for awhile. Oh, and why do I have to be the level headed one??
http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/violent.gif I want to be the passionate one http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

Annacia, passionate it is. And forum-based missions sound very level-headed...er...passionate! ;)

Boss - the Astin-Martin is already parked in the 8th bay. Oh, and do you want the ejector-seat option on the Apache (ouch)? The heat-seeking missile launcher is standard equipment.

Maureen Errant
11-06-03, 21:16
Trust me, Annacia will want the missiles!!! Or maybe since she's been hanging out with the dragon, she's not so afraid of flying anymore. So perhaps the ejector seat is more her forte now.
I don't know. She should be coming online soon. We just came back from shopping, and she lives a lttle further away. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Gavman
11-06-03, 21:18
Does the Aston Martin have a luxurious interior http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

gonga
11-06-03, 21:51
Bosman, I haven't actually seen the inside. You know how the dragon doesn't like us playing with his toys. The Astin-Martin was Sean Connery's car, so I assumed the Angels would find it satisfactory. If they decide they want the wet bar and PS2 we can always go with the aftermarket options. You know Draco gives them whatever they want, right boss? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

An Angel can't be to careful after all. You know the dasterdly types we have to deal with.
Thank you Bosmen http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/flirt.gif for getting things ready.

I have it on good authority that the Boss is going to try to check in later.

Annacia, I'm going to shut down for a while. It's almost 4 and my crew still hasn't arrived yet. I think I should clear the phone lines. Talk at you later, or if not, then tomorrow.
And get some sleep girl!!!!!!!!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

Isabella, http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif . I'm glad your here.

It looks like everyone is busy. :( That's alright....It's wednesday night, just a few more days till the weekend. I really like feta cheese, it's so good in on an omelet(wrong spelling) and it's good sprinkled on salads. Romaine lettuce is better than ice berg. Ice berg is all water and no nutrition. The new dark chocolate reeses pieces are wonderful but they are so hard to find. Maybe because they are new, I don't know. I saw a turkey today. Not that turkey's are rare but to just see one off in the woods while I was driving, that was kind of random. Tofurkey isn't for everybody, I bought one one year for Thanksgiving and everyone said they liked it but they had a look of disgust in their eyes. Anyway... fun times.

Isabella
12-06-03, 01:58
Hello, I knew if I wrote long enough someone would come around. How are things? ;)

Isabella

Annacia, I daren't ask what grapeing means http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

It was your concept Gav!

Is there a rule that we can only have one Bosley? I don't think so. Isabella, two Bosleys?

Isabella
12-06-03, 02:23
We can have as many as we need, Why not one for each of us? That should make things interesting. You have Draco, Maybe Jiao and I should have our own Dragon man. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Annacia
12-06-03, 02:32
Wait a min! I'm not looking for another man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought we were playing Angels, thats all.

Isabella
12-06-03, 02:35
I know, I meant that maybe we should each have our own Bosley. I think Draco is yours without a doubt. So it would be ok for us to have a Bosley. ;)

Annacia

Oh! I don't have any problem with you and Jiao each haveing a Bosley. Did you see all the cool stuf they have gotten for us?

Hope the Boss shows up soon!

Isabella
12-06-03, 02:50
Yes. The Bosley's have exquisite taste. They know how to treat a lady(or ladies). By the time Jiao comes on I'll probrobly be in bed. :( Chicago is an hour behind me. I always feel like I miss all the fun. All the overseas members must come on later.

Annacia
12-06-03, 02:54

I've already asked, and was told that there are only 3 positions to be filled, and they are already taken. So I guess the only thing the rest of us Pre-angels can do is make (snide?) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/silent.gif helpfull comments and possibly cheer from the sidelines, waiting our turns in that particular limbo called boredom. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

Annacia you may be right but I'm not sure my students know who Bosley is. I had trouble remembering myself. I watched that show maybe once and it was...25 years ago?! Hey...but it was a great show!

Oh, Oh, Oh...a mission! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Gavman, glad you're feeling better. Get that red phone fixed now in case the Head Honcho or the President calls. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Hey Maureen and Jacker you can cause all kinds of trouble for the Bosleys if you want. And weren't there any other interesting regulars on that show?

Gavman

The diggers are still at work as we speak http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Maureen Errant
12-06-03, 20:42
I don't think so. I think it was the 3 angels, Bosley, and Charlie's voice. I don't think Jacker and I will cause any trouble, but, perhaps we could be on standby, just in case you know?

Hey Jacker, Got any slow-acting, non-fatal poisons......I work with Annacia, so I don't think I can sneak anything past her. You get her. I'll handle the other 2

Ipecac maybe? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif not fatal, just some really yucky moments http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif

claireandchris
12-06-03, 20:56
Hey Maureeen,

Only poison I know is Hemlock, which is fatal and was used on Socrates in Ancient Grecian times. It makes you turn blue from the feet up. However if you are looking for something non-fatal, what was that herb that she didn't like?

Ps if GeorgeM was still here I think that we could convince him to be his angels.

Tlr, why doesn't your name show up when you are on? Is it because you are a moderator?

tlr online
13-06-03, 17:13
Well.. it's Big Brother evictions this evening and Jon, Sissy and Fred are up for the vote. Personally I'd like to see the back of Fred who is a poor excuse of a man, but the media are lobbying for Sissy to face the chop. What's new in Michigan?

Isabella
13-06-03, 17:19
We have a Big Brother here also but it doesn't start until July. It's so addicting. I've become such a reality tv junkie. There is a show here called the Amazing Race, where teams of two race around the world with a minimal amount of money and obstacles to overcome. It looks fun. If there were any show I could be on, that would be it. Last season they bungee jumped off one of the hightest places, somewhere in New Zealand. Nothing is new in Michigan :( But at least it's Friday! How was the weather today? Still nice and warm?

tlr online
13-06-03, 17:21
The temperature is 22 with a 2mph North Easterly sea breeze. It's roasting over here, and everyone is walking around lethargic. Agreed in the show, Id rather navigate the globe riddled with doubt rather than be plonked inside a house and fed for nine weeks.

Isabella
13-06-03, 17:28
It still sounds better than what we have. Here it's humid but still a little bit chilly. The sun has been trying to come out for the past few days but the coulds have been too pushy. At least it's not freezing. Cold is unbearable, I'll take humidity and heat any day. It is beautiful right now. A lot of flowers have come up this week and with the humidity everything looks green and lush. It's fun to pretend I'm in Costa Rica sometimes. I don't know the names of all the trees but there are a few here that look tropical.

tlr online
13-06-03, 17:31
I'm the opposite. I'd rather be cool that hot. How does a typical day play out for you over there?

Isabella
13-06-03, 17:43
Sorry for the delay, my computer is slow right now for some reason. My days are not too exciting. I work at a coffee shop five to six days a week. Only every other weekend (thankfully). Mondays, thursdays and fridays I have to open so I need to be there at 5 thirty, but I get to leave at noon so that's fine. Tuesdays and wednesdays I work from eleven till six. I like it, You get to meet a lot of different people because almost everyone loves coffee and coffee goes well with political talk. I try to work in pilates or yoga every other day just to keep what's left of my sanity. Waiting on people can get on your nerves sometimes http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Weekends are nice. I just hang out with some friends and one of us will make dinner and then go to a movie or get drinks somewhere. There is not much else going on right now. What about you, is hockey a full time committment?

tlr online
13-06-03, 17:51
I love the smell of fresh coffee. You can't beat it. A typical day for me would begin around 8am sifting through about 50 emails and trying to answer as many as possible. A run on the beach at 9am and into the office by ten. During the off-season, training begins around 2pm for two hours, then back to work for a few more hours. Then to the beach to unwind, and perhaps some hockey with friends. Home and forum-surfing until the wee hours, mix in some good conversation and a frag here and there and that's a typical day winding down.

Isabella
13-06-03, 17:58
Coffee has the best smell in the world. I have some beans that I put in a small fleece satchel and I use it for a car freshener. Where do you work? Unless you can't say. Did you put this whole site together on your own? That's amazing. I was hesitant to join chat rooms because there are always stories about how things happen to people because they give away too much personal information ect. But this one is very comfortable, I'm glad that I happened to find it. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I work for 43 Berth Media (who also own the main magazine and forum) - Regarding your point about security, the mods and admins police this forum quite rigorously to ensure we maintain a safe environment for our members. I think youd have a fit if you saw how some forums are run. Were lucky enough to be blessed with some pretty amazing members also which makes the maintenance that much easier. A good rule of thumb, however, is never to divulge too much info on a public forum, however safe you feel.

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:10
Good tip. I can see how easily things could get out of hand. You guys do a great job:) Are all the people that are on here nice? It seems like it so far. By the way, have you seen any good movies lately? Any recomendations?

tlr online
13-06-03, 18:20
For the most part yes. The not-so-nice ones find their membership short-lived. What kind of movies do you like? I recently (and categorically recommend) watched The Pianist. It's not hard to see why Adrien Brody scooped an Oscar for his portrayal of Wladyslaw Szpilman. Also, The Bourne Identity and Memento come recommended as recent movies I've watched and intend to watch again. Do you have a favourite movie?

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:20
By the way, what is a frag? I keep seeing this on posts. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

tlr online
13-06-03, 18:23
A frag is a kill in Quake III Arena. Quake III Arena is an online multiplayer shoot-em up game where players arm themselves to the kilt and shoot just about anything that moves.

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:31
I have a lot of favorites. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I love foreign films, Il Postino is one of them. Run Loyla Run, The Professional. I loved Much Ado About Nothing (anything Shakespearean) I haven't seen The Pianist yet but I want to. On the other side of the coin, I love suspense. The movie The Ring still gives me chills just by thinking about it. Sometimes at night my overactive imagination will start playing out different nightmares. Like my tv going on by itself and hearing static, then seeing a picture of that well. Have you seen it? The Taleneted Mr. Ripley was a great movie. I really want to see the Borne Identity. Frida was another wonderful film that should have recieved more notice. I'm sure you have the chance to see a lot of good movies that don't make it into mainstream theaters. The theaters over here only release the blockbuster movies that are far too commercialized.

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:34
I still haven't finished downloading Quake yet. The lingo is still new to me. I just figured out a few days ago what lol means, the only way I found out was because someone put a rolling laughing head by it. I was too embarassed to ask because everyone was using it and it seemed like something I should know. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Much Ado About Nothing is a great movie. The 'luvvies' (Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman...etc) are in many of our classic adaptations most of which are released by Miramax. The Talented Mr Ripley is also a great movie (Jude Law is in a spot of trouble over here atm over his turbulant marriage) and Matt Damon can certainly pen a good movie. Good Will Hunting I believe also scored an Oscar (written by Damon and Affleck.) Frida is on my list of movies to watch.

tlr online
13-06-03, 18:39
The English Patient (directed by Anthony Minghella who used his own money to finish the movie) is also a great movie. Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche and Kristin Scott Thomas star. Another Miramax movie.

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:45
Good Will Hunting, I forgot about that. Frida was very well done. Selma Hyack put all her heart into it and she did an excellent job. I admit that I like some of the big movies. The Matrix was good, but I haven't seen the sequel yet. When I want a good laugh, a movie like Dumb and Dumber never fails. :)On the public access channel Mr. Bean used to be on. That was hilarious!

Isabella
13-06-03, 18:48
The English Patient was great. But when I saw it I was with someone who was complaining the whole time so it wasn't much fun. Gavman, those infra-red missiles are $50,000 a pop! Geez, you can get a BMW for that! (Do you think we could try loading a couple Kia's on there? That would hurt!). Talk about an expensive hobby! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif Well, the Angels do seem to be enjoying themselves...maybe we could save a few bucks if we went with someone other than Haliburton... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/silent.gif

By the way, Draco tried to call Angel 1 this am and inadvertently rang the White House. We hear Dubbya was miffed that Draco didn't want to talk. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif Re-program those codes, huh?

Annacia
13-06-03, 22:35
What? you think the missiles fired from an Apache at a balloon was overkill???

gonga
13-06-03, 22:59
Oh no, Angel, anything in self-defense! Oh yes, the Bosleys get all excited when the Angels kick butt, don't we Gavman?

The other Bos is looking at a bigger office or maybe an addition for the new phone (LOL). It really makes sense since the custodial staff's been complaining about all the lipstick on the speakerphone... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif

With Jacker A.W.O.L., I guess it's up to me to start something up again. The thing is with all this going on between Draco and Annacia, and I have to work with her all day, my mind is not really on being a DEVIL. Lipstick on the speaker phone!!! LOL gonga you are a hoot. Things could be worse, at least my hair didn't get messed
by a dragon belch this time. Darn them and their Apaches. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/violent.gif Don't know how much they are going to be able to do with such a limited budget. Our expenses are all in our wits and stamina. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Annacia
14-06-03, 00:29
Lipstick?? on the speakerphone? ummm, well......it must be Jiao's, yeah, thats it, it's Jiao's uh huh. Either that or I don't know what you are talking about at all!

gonga
14-06-03, 00:56
Uhhhh huh. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif

Well, with Jacker's wedding getting closer and closer, this might turn out to be a one woman wrecking team. The only problem is, is I don't have anyone to confab with. I've got to come up with all these cool ideas myself. Am I up to the challenge. YOU BET!!!!!!! I just need to keep the caffeine levels up. I think I'm going to need an I.V.on wheels here. Maybe a gas powered zimmer. Nah, I'm not quite THAT old. Hang on boys and girls, I'm strapping on the nitro.

gonga
14-06-03, 01:36
Maureen, please call back at a later date. The Angels, the Boss, and one Bosley are currently indisposed. Cyber-angeling is harder than it looks. Myself, today was my last day of classes so I'm beat (I wish I had the cross-bow with the explosive ammo this afternoon).

You are a jolly good adversary! See you tomorrow.

Maureen Errant
14-06-03, 01:37
Good Night gonga...watch your backs now.

Annacia
14-06-03, 02:41
Is ther any one around that I can plot with???

gonga
14-06-03, 12:45
Bosley's hours:

I post around 6-9pm eastern or 23:00pm to 2:00am GMT. I have my regimented schedule (up at 5am, bed by 9pm) until the end of June. Then I'm taking the girls (including my wife) to Disneyworld! :D After that, I'll be able to post later at night during my summer hours. By then you guys will be halfway or more through AOD!

We know Jacker's busy. But what's up with Jiao, Isabella and Gavman?

Annacia
14-06-03, 15:56
Isabella is here every day, Gav checks in from time to time (he's on call!), Jiao ?????????.

You're right Maurri is very good! She'll come up with some good stuff!

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/sleepy.gif Yaawwnnn! mm that was a strange dream, I had this falling sensation, and then someone was calling my name! Very strange, and my bed feels sooooo comfy at the moment, almost like, AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH, it is! HAY. How did I get here? whats going on? Maureen what happened!

Annacia
15-06-03, 15:11
You've been shot down by a missile armed Apache and Maureen has abandoned you to do the best you can on you've own!!
Don't trust her jacker. SAVE YOURSELF !!

claireandchris
15-06-03, 15:22
OMG, its all coming back to me now, something to do with angels, parachutes, goats cheese (?), and a lovely soft, bouncy haystack, and a man in check shirt called Dillon! OMG what have I done? Where is that Maureen, we need to do some serious talking!

Annacia
15-06-03, 15:58
Dillion??? Don't like the name , he doesn't smell like a pickle does he?????/

You're ALL alone, she's not here.

The other Angels are missing also, so looks like it's just us to face off.

claireandchris
15-06-03, 16:06
Soz about Dillon's name, just sounded like the name of someone who would be wearing a check shirt (?) And he definitely did not smell of pickle, more like coco chanel, (tad worrying)(!)

That Maureen, is such a deserter, which begs the question is she good with sweets? he he! MML (made myself laugh).

So, with people having to be off the forum at certain times it does make me think that there should be stand in angels like myself and Maurie (though going off of her rapidly)so that there is always three. Wadya think?

Annacia
15-06-03, 16:11
Heck of a good try!!

Maureen is OUT. Can't trust her as far as you can see her (Coco Chanel, huh?) so not angel material. If we don't hear from Jiao soon there may be an opening.

claireandchris
15-06-03, 16:33
Well you keep me in mind Ms Annacia! I think I have a number of the qualities that you would require in an angel!

Hey stranger (Isabella)! Been a busy weekend for me and not much time to post tonight either. Maybe we'll get back in a few hours. Have a great night and hope to talk later! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Annacia
15-06-03, 23:09
yeah, I'm here.

Isabella
15-06-03, 23:18
Annacia, I know you are here, I wrote that a while ago. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Do you ever feel like you are talking to yourself on here? Sometimes that happens to me because I keep replying under the topic I think everyone else is in, but they have already moved on to a different one. Then what I said doesn't make any sense. So I try to cover it up by putting a smiley face after I self-reply.

Hey Isabella and Annacia...I just got past a spot I've been stuck on on George's The Loch...right at the end. I needed Elen's advice...what would we do without her? Even though I'm at the end I can't finish because I have too much to do. Just wanted to say hello. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Isabella
15-06-03, 23:35
Hello gonga http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif How is Bosley #1? I tried to download the Loch but the download itself won't even start. I keep getting disconnected. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

gonga
15-06-03, 23:47
Hello Angel. I'm doing well. The Loch is a great game, and it's pretty low on the frustration meter, which is a definite plus. If you want to download it, you could also try here (http://www.laraslevelbase.org/lsdatum.asp?Autor=&Levelname=The+Loch&B2=search). Then click "download." Don't forgert to read the "author's" txt file. Later!

Isabella
15-06-03, 23:53
Thanks gonga. The site you gave me is working. You really are like Bosley, very helpful and polite. :D By the way, you do resemble your avatar a little bit. You are of course more handsome but the hat and the look are alike. Good choice. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

gonga
16-06-03, 01:03
Thanks Isabella. The avatar reminds me of my wilderness-man side. Over the years I've spent a lot of time out there, much of it by myself, too.

My eldest daughter is sick so I'm staying home with her tomorrow. What a shame, huh? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif I have a feeling Jiao's got the same or a similar issue.

An interesting community here. Not at all what the average bloke would suspect, I suspect! I got hooked when I played Dead Sea Scrolls with Elen, Eriksgirl, Jade, Tobasco and Elsiefan. That's a unique sort of comraderie playing together. Then of course I got sucked into the shenanigans here...everybody has something different to say and from all over the world...

I think Annacia and Draco are good examples of what the forum is all about...in their own way they are the glue that helps hold this community together... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Isabella
16-06-03, 01:11
I know what you mean. I've never been in a chat area before but this one seems to be a diamond in the rough(or is it ruff). Anyway, nobody on here is offensive in any way and so far they have the same kind of sense of humor I do. I was reading through some past posts and Annacia and Draco crack me up! I hope your daughter feels better. I've had a little bit of a fever myself, I think something is going around. The weather keeps changing from cold to hot and allergies and the flu are cropping up all over. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif

Isabella
16-06-03, 01:17
By the way, how do you seperate your paragraph's? I keep hitting thy space bar but when it gets posted, all the paragraph's merge into one. I've never had any professional typing classes so if the answer is obviously simple...Honestly, I do have an education. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

gonga
16-06-03, 01:34
LOL! Try the "Enter" (previously referred to as the "Return") key!

Everybody has to start somewhere. I was a "computer science" major in 1980...that was before the IBM PC, before Apple, before Microsoft and DOS...Yikes! I remember dialing up bulletin boards before the web existed (all of ten years ago), and having e-mail when I didn't know anybody else with e-mail to send a message to...

In other words, I'm an old guy! And I remember being stuck for DAYS not knowing the correct code to get a Pascal program to compile...because I was a beginner...back then.

Gonga, you are not old. Age is just a number. Besides, at least you have an excuse. My generation grew up with computers and most people my age know how to do anything on them. Anything that has to do with technology I tend to shy away from. Because somewhere down the line math or numbers are going to come into play. It's hard enough to keep track of phone numbers, atm pin numbers, addresses, my little brain is http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif Oh well, everyone their weaknesses. But computers are not so bad. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

16-06-03, 01:53
Actually, I don't have much experience with forums at all. I still don't know what fao stands for.

By the way, someone said Gavman is probably playing a pre-release version of AOD. That might be why the other Bosley hasn't been showing up for work. ;)

gonga
16-06-03, 01:56
Incidentally, your avatar seems to fit you well too.

Isabella
16-06-03, 02:02
I was wondering where he was. I thought I was the only one who didn't know what fao meant. I don't even know what html means and all those uvb codes. For the longest time I had no idea what lol stood for but I was afraid to ask because everyone else seemed to know. It wasn't until someone put a rolling head that was laughing that I figured it out. I'm still working on fao ;) Maybe between the two of us we can figure it out someday without having to ask. Fish attack oysters. Forks are overrated. Fly around oceans....

Isabella
16-06-03, 02:04
Thanks, I do look a bit frustrated like that. Especially when I'm on the computer.

gonga
16-06-03, 02:11
Hyper Text Markup Language. See I know what all the inhuman stuff stands for, but not the human community stuff like fao. For anybody online?

I like forks are overated.

16-06-03, 02:17
Nice chatting with ya. Gotta get up early and go into work so I can bring work home while taking care of my daughter! 'nite Isabella http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Isabella
16-06-03, 02:20
Wow, now that I know what html means, I still have no idea what it means. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Do you think it's for anyone online? That's boring. Maybe there is a manual somewhere that explains online language. It seems like there is an abbreviation for anything. Ivstdutg. (It's very slow tonight, don't you think gonga). ;)

For Attention Of = fao

Hi guys. Thank you for the nice thoughts! wow, it was like eavesdroping, reading this topic just now.

I don't imagine either of you are still here?

Isabella
16-06-03, 02:26
Hi Annacia, I'm still here but not for much longer. I have a fever so I should be in bed already but I don't want to go. Everyone comes on when I leave.
By the way, I prefer forks are overrated. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Annacia
16-06-03, 02:33
Oh NO!!!

the Angels are droping like flies. I know it's that Maureen! shes done something!! her and her D**n dill!!!

kidding aside, I hope you feel well almost instantly. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

This time differende kinda sucks!

Isabella
16-06-03, 02:38
I think it was Maureen. Some weird kind of fumes came out of my speakers yesterday after I spoke with her. It's nothing serious, I haven't had a fever in so long. It's neat because everything is sureal and off but in a cool kind of way.

How long do you usually stay on?

Annacia
16-06-03, 02:42
Depends on whats going on and if there is anyone to talk to!

I knew she was up to something evil. I wonder if thecompound has been secured yet?
