Is this world actually real? Do we actually live in a computer simulated world, a "Matrix"? That would explain things like ghosts and phantoms, the supernatural, things that have gone wrong with the program, glitches. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

If we were in a Matrix controlled by computers, they wouldn't allow movies like 'The Matrix' to be made. ;)

No, I don't think we live in a Matrix.

In my opinion, the unoriginal storyline of The Matrix was a tired idea, better executed by the TV series 'Red Dwarf'.

The concept of 'this not being the real world' is an old one. As I said, the closest version was in an episode of Red Dwarf from the mid '90s, but the story has taken many other forms before this. Films like 'The Truman Show' also have that theme.

And just imagine the un-freaking-believable graphic card needed to generate such a 'real' world. Either the Matrix's a hoax, or today's manufacturers are purposely selling us completely outdated peripherals :D
