and still managesto shoot them when shes not even aiming at them

Yea, thats what gives me the idea that cd didn't plan this move..

Not to spoil anything but everyone that has finished the game knows this since you "have" to use it at one of the boss fights close to the end of the game so yea.. CD did plan this move.

umm i didnt use this move at all until AFTER i completed the game the first time. i had no idea that we could flip over the enemy and shoot them from the back. and it kind of IS possible to defeat that certain "boss" that u are talking about by just using the normal AD by going to the side. it just takes alot longer cuz that is the way defeated it.
I never used that technique to defeat that certain boss. I just waited and dodged backward at THE VERY LAST SECOND so that the boss misses me with its attack and I can continue shooting mwahaha

Yeah but..it wasn't animated to that extent...
This was one of my main concerns with CD...I can do many more things that CD hadn't mention yet those things I do is often buggy looking such as diving with her guns out...simply because they never planned it out.
Same thing with flipping over an enemy with your guns out without adrenaline dodge. If you notice, her body instantly twists to a different angle after jumping over an enemy with your guns out.

That's not true at all...
the dodge system is very brilliant and has been planned so well...
I did that manytimes, and Lara doesnt shoot at all bcz the enemy's head is away or bcz her hands aren't in the right position...
my friend alays got frustrated bcz it really needed focusing to apply this move very well...
I am saying this as i play it on PS2... donno about other consoles, but ur topic isn't true at all...
It was true though that she didn't aim when flipping over the enemy, with her arms still stretched yet still perfectly able to shoot them in the head-_-...or whatever part they wanted to hit. Like I said, they didn't animate that.
What they SHOULD'VE DONE with her flipping over the enemy is to animate her jumping over the enemy in the air and shooting them in the head. Sounding familiar to anyone? JUST LIKE THE FIRST TRAILER, where it slo-moed Lara jumping over in the air shooting the raptors.
