MP5?? Where do I pick it up - Coastal Village?

Okay, I got throught the coastal village okay, and just crossed the swamp to the first secret of MP5 clips, but the guide indicates I've got to use the weapon now to kill the raptors, only problem is I don't have anything but the clips!!!! Where was I supposed to pick up the gun? I'll admit, I missed the first section of costal village. I went through the trapdoor with the smugglers key and missed the waterfall & temple bit all together. The guide makes it seem like you can go that way and down the sloap and end up in the same place. Well, I missed it completely somehow. Is that the area where I get the gun? Thanks for any help.

Apparently you've reached the plane...correct? To the right of the plane is an opening. When you drop down inside there are MP5 clips if you have the MP5, and the MP5 if you don't have it. Have fun! http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/forums/biggrin.gif

The Prima guide assumes that you manage to find the MP5 right at the beginning of Area 51 (you have to kill the first guard before he can strike the alarm panel, which activates the lasers, sealing off the room on the left at the far end of the corridor, which is where the MP5 is to be found). BTW - you also missed finding a weapon in the Coastal Village level - the harpoon gun. This is to be found at the bottom of the canyon lake (with the two crocodiles) that you reach after dropping through the trap door in the hut. The gun is just under the point where the path emerges from the tunnel out into the canyon. There is a cache of harpoons right next to the guns & two more caches elsewhere on the lake bed. Just remember to kill the crocs before jumping into the water. There is only one point where you can climb out of the water, and that's the also at the point where the path emerges from the tunnel. This isn't in the guide, I found it for myself. So don't follow the guide slavishly - it doesn't tell you everything.
