http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif There's nobody here at the moment, and I'm bored. I was just wondering what others would do if they won the lottery. My wish is a huge log house, a hummer, and the knowledge that my money worries would be over. (others would probably still keep cropping up at regular intervals)
A cruise would be nice too. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif

I'd gear up and back-pack around the world a few times. Prolly take a friend with me too! There's this island I wanna go to but I can't remember it's name. It's near Malaysia anyway... Beutiful beaches and totaly privacy... mmmmmmmm Beat sitting here all day! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/bash.gif

Sounds great, except for the packpacking bit(bad knee), going round the world on a bicycle now, that I could handle. Glad you posted. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif Thought this thread was going to go begging.

How in the world could you ride a bike round the world with a bad knee?

And all that water too!!!!!!!!! Boy, am I ever losing it. Must be cause it's raining again. Yup, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I meant motorcycling. I had someone blethering on in my ear just now about a bike and I mis-spelled it. Mea Culpa http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

Tough stuff...

I think I'd buy an old castle in the Wales and lock myself in forever http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Or I'd spend the rest of my life going to the Japanese restaurant at every meal of the day, instead of being forced to pilfer some Kellog's boxes now and then in order to survive. And I'd go for an expensive T1 backbone because I'm really fed up with this lousy cable modem of mine :D

Wasn't ME, we're actually not together now.

Imagine that!

Yes imagine! Of course it wasn't you. Can't imagine who it was though.
And the castle sounds great Kaminari, just make sure you can plug in the 'puter so you won't go stir crazy http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

to make my true wishes come true I wouldn't need much money!!Just enough to buy a house that I liked (but not a really big one!) and a nice car (SLK kompressor!!!)! But what I really want to have is lot's of friends and family always around so I can share all my good moments with them no matter whether I'm on a cruise or at home!!!

I just noticed that you had 7 posts. Welcome to the forum. I'm always amazed that this forum goes world wide, and that I can talk to someone on the other side of the world. (Gosh, I'm showing my age now, huh?) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Gwynhefar, money won't buy you friends - at least not the ones you wish you had (the ones precisely not interested in your money) :(

Everything happens in threes because everything needs a balance or else equilibrium is abolished...take Paper, Rock, Scissors...none of them is ultimate nor is any of the three totally unfortunate...

I'd buy a HUGE ranch of Friesian horses! And I'd build a huge cross country/hunter jumping area for all of em! If only that could happen....... too bad one Friesian horse costs over $20,000 dollars!

mmm... if I won the lottery I would end up buying nearly every Sony, Toshiba and Samsung piece of equipment available...lol. Really though, I would probably get a very well made hi Spec PC and a have my own studio, work at my own leisure, maybe even start my own game company up... not sure how much that would cost tho http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

If I won the lottery I'd buy the fastest most powerful laptop in existence, a really good spellchecker, a DECENT modem, the latest games and gadgets, a really comfy recliner, a 3 foot Toblerone, a year's supply of Irn-Bru, and a stereo with surround sound.

Alcohol blows...

I'd invest it in a business venture and eventually span the globe with my financial empire...

If I won the lottery, after seeing all my family had everything they want I'd buy a house in the country with stables and lots of horses. The first thing I would do is give up work, :D :D

Ok If I won the lottery (and me and future hubby are agreed here so perhaps its a good idea for us to marry) is to buy a small house in the country with lots of land and take in lots of rescue animals and give them a life worth living. I know that that sounds a bit Miss World but thats what we would do!

Ps the three thing. 'Everything comes in threes'. Could be something to do with triangles, which has three points and which is the easiest shape for the eye to recognise and thus the shape of the pyramids etc. If you look at any shop display window it will always go along the triangle theme. Just thought I would share!

Your rescue shelter sounds great. I used to be a foster parent for the S.P.C.A. Now I live in the country and too far away. Your theory on triangles makes sense, I just never thought of it that way before. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif
