The best advice I can give is copied from the TRC walkthrough.....
4th Secret - Jump back close to the THOR switch. Take a look on the opposite walkway and you will see a gray tile. Take a running jump on it and a door on the ground will open. It is timed, but as long as you stay on the tile, the countdown does not start, so position Lara taking your time. Also, make sure you have enough health, because you will make long drops down and you need at least half of your health.
Turn with the THOR switch on your left and stand at the back of the tile. Now hop back twice, pressing Action to grab the edge. Release to drop to the walkway below. Jump backwards to reach the edge of the walkway and hop back to drop to the lower one. Two bats will attack here, but do not hesitate. You can go on with your business, shooting at the same time or totally ignore them for now. Run forwards, jumping at the same time and you will land on the ground. The door is exactly ahead. Quickly go through it. Pick up the Large Medi Pack and Magnum Clips. If you did not kill the bats before, they may have entered the room or you will have to deal with them as soon as you exit through the door, which opens as you approach.
Hope this helps and welcome to the forum :wve:

Welcome. :wve: Maybe you're just too slow.
Welcome. :wve: Maybe you're just too slow.
True. You have to be really quick, and make sure you have reasonable health before the drop, to get the last secret. BTW, how did you go with secret 2 (after the slide) I thought this was harder. Especially on the PS where you had to go back so far to try again.

Hey, Drewy. :wve:
Well I think I am really quick. I will try again in the evening and I think that this secret door is where I search it. Since later, thanks for your help.
Welcome. :wve: Maybe you're just too slow.
You're right. I've been to slow. Now everything's allright. Thanks.
I've red that if you save the game with the door open and then reload, it will never close. I've never tried it though:confused:.

That is sort of true for the PS version. It's so long since I've done it but I think this is correct:-
If you trigger the door switch and then immediately go all the way down and save at the crystal on the floor when you reload the game you should find the secret door is open. BTW this is the best way of starting the room whether it works or not.
Maybe you can save anywhere, with the door open and it will remain open, I don't know about that. But I'm fairly sure that if you save at the floor crystal it won't matter whether the door is closed or open. Anyway, if it did require the door to be open wouldn't it make more sense just to enter the room?
I hadn't heard of this before? I will have to try this next time. But how do you have enough time to get to the crystal and save before the door closes? The door barely stays open long enough to get through, let alone get to a save crystal. If you have the time to do that, why not just go through the door? But I will try it next time.

I assume that was posted in response to jjV because that was the point I was making: as far as I know the door doesn't need to be open when you save. You just stand on the switch plate on the way down to open the secret door and then you can take as long as you want to get down to the save crystal on the floor.
It's 8+ years since I last bothered to use that 'trick' so I can't gurantee I've remembered all the details but I'm fairly sure what I've said is correct.

It is correct.
I just checked a couple of minutes ago and it's just as described. Stand on that grey square on the outer platforms on the second level down. Then go to floor of the Folly and you'll find the secret door is shut. Save at the crystal there and then reload and when you do the the very first thing you'll hear is the door opening.
