what is the scariest moment in the game for you. Mine is when the mutants jump at you from nowhere.

That bear scared me the first time but i got used to it.
T-rex and the mumies(lol I was only 5:D and herad their moan. I think I even screamed) And that bear too. but the mumies cause I heard them.

My scariest moment has to have been the wolves back when I was 7/9?
I was playing City of Vilcabamba and I was white with shock from the pack of wolves at the begining!
That wolf that jumps out from around a corner in City of Vilcabama made me jump more than I've ever jumped before :)
The mummies' groan. The distant flap approaching towards you in the sanctuary of the scion. The constant heartbeat sound in Atlantis.
Colosseum. When you go up the left set of stairs, a lion jumps out from around the corner. MILLIONS more. I just can't think of all of them. :vlol:
Walking in the Lost Valley waiting for the T-Rex to appear.

I know exactly what you're talking about. That same exact lion scared the pants off of me last time I played through the game. :yik:

Me neither,a Tomb raider game has never scared me! unlike my 6yr old sister,she is affraid of Tomb Raider so much that she plays only the first Level! but I must Admit There is one level that scared me! Its acctually a custom Level......But Never Mind that......:whi:
The T-Rex was probably my WTF moment in Tomb Raider. But the mutant's groan always sends shivers down my spine.

It has to be when the wolf jumps out from behind the rock in Lost Valley, scares me every time even when i know it's coming, what a wimp i know, i think i scare more easily the older i get, poor me there's no hope, i guess my nerves have been shattered playing to much Silent Hill over the years.
The moaning sound that the Mummies make are also scary!

The mummie in Tomb Of Qualopec gave me a nasty fright when I first played the game :D

i think the level wuz the great pyrmid but it wuz wen u walked down that pit thing and there pods on the wall and they broke out ahhhhhhhh!!!!!(lol) :D
scariest moment...hmm... when the t-rex came out ...
the first few times it really scared the hell out of me because I just wanted to hide from it but didn't know where and then I paniced and got eaten by it (btw same goes for the 2 t-rexs in TR2)

Same, and the first time I played the ending level, and that beast came out of that huge egg was an omg, wtf moment for me too.
In st. Francis folly, I didnt notice the crocodile in the water, and it came up behind me and ate me. Also, the centaur statue coming to life in tomb of tihocan and the torso thing in great pyramid.

the bear in vilca, groan of mummies in khamoon, eggs bursting in atlantis, t-rex coming out of the darkness, mummy in qualopec that is still, then falls down. the first time all of these things occured, i **** my pants!
The t-rex in the Lost valley also the bear in Vilcabamba and the crocodiles in the Cistern.

So many that i can't remember. i used to be so scared that i would kill poor laura.:D
That first egg that exploded and that damn mummy in the long corridor in Egypt:(
All those eggs, the T-rex, probably every single mummy, and the crazy fireball centaurs
Replaying the game:
I remember now, it's Atlantis with all the freaky creatures. I hate that level so much that I've taken a break for a while to chill out. My nerves on end!
I also forgot how frustrating the Great Pyramid is, but it's not as scary as Atlantis, for me.
The T-Rex entrance, the first time. My finger slammed the pause button, and it remained paused for a good 20 minutes.
The only bit I remember scaring me was after you slide down the slope into the Sphinx enclosure (near the beginning of City of Khamoon) and the mummy leaps at you from out of nowhere. I had a brief panic attack before reaching for the shotgun and taking care of business :D
i think it has to be the bear...it scared the sh!t out of me...
The T-Rex of course :)

Easily when the first centaur came to life at the tomb of Tihocan. Scared the crap out of me! :)

This is pathetic, but I tried to replay some of tr2 levels (I beat the game this year) and I felt sick to my stomach because I was too terrified of this game! The only level I can play that wont scare me is her mansion :vlol:

lol! i used to be terrified to play the level with the huge spiders....Temple of Xian! I would pick the most powerful weapon to kill them the quickest and when they would appear I would literally scream outload! ....when I was younger tho....now I play them no problem.

Well, this is sadder, I got started on TR about two years ago when I was about 12.5 years old. I saw Legend in my movie rental store, and said "Hmmm, I guess it'l be Ok. Thats the first TR game I played, and I LOVED IT!!!! :p
The only TR game me and my sis owned was tr2 and we were too scared to play it when I was like 7. It was never touched until I picked it up, and popped it in after I played Legend. I tell you what, scariest game in the world! It took me nearly a month to finish it, my heart was pounding even in the mansion! :vlol:
And then.... I bought them all to pass the time away when I heard about TRA!!!
Now even when I play TR5, when a human enemy comes up to me I scream and shoot the bleeding hell out of it!!

awwww....lol! see...to me that's what makes the game so exciting, when it gets you're heart poundin like that! In TR3 on the Crash Site level I am scared to death of those raptors! but the more you play it, the better you become at killen those suckas so then you start to become less afraid

that thing was fugly! scared the poop outta me!
I accidently fell down a slope in the Lost Valley and got mauled by three wolves.
I actually screamed it made me jump so much.

I was so scared for the T-Rex the first time I saw him,
The torso, was so scary, I paused the game and asked my mom to play xD
The cowboy o.o I had no guns, and I heard him talking, and shooting, I was like EEEEEEEP !!!!
When I 'killed' natla the first time I really thought she was dead, but then she rised from death! I was litteraly in shock o.o
The mummy in tomb of tihocan was freaky too, I scared hell outa me, it just fell on the ground o.o
I was 4-5years old when I played TR, wonder how scared I was?
the scariest part wuz probably the in the atlantis wen u walked down the pit thing and the pods break open
