Anyway, that particular TR3 object is a trapdoor.

Lara can also monkeyswing on trapdoors in LE.
Simply select the floor tile(s) underneath the trapdoor and then click the light orange monkeyswing button.
Lara will be able to monkeyswing on the trapdoor once it is closed, like in the screenshot. :D

Hi i never paied atention to this thread and it may become very usefull...

I'm having trouble connecting water to land room in a more natural looking way.
