Hi, I've installed Tomb Raider for Windows Vista like it is posted on Windows XP Installation process... And when I'm running a game I see message "Your system doesn't support fullscreen mode". Wtf?

Glidos / Vdos32 is the only way of getting it to run reasonably well on Vista at present.

On Vista it only works with Glidos, but I still can't play it because the sound is horribly distorted to the point where it's beyond annoying, it's really unpleasant. Even if I try to play it with sound off, Glidos has no option for that, and the in game sound menu doesn't affect it, even in 0. It's sad really. :( I've installed VDMsound but it made no diference. Guess I'll have to stick with Anniversary :p

I have the same problem with Vdos32 0.7 the sound is awful. However the earlier version Vdos32 0.6_d (http://vogons.zetafleet.com/download.php?id=4131) works fine for me although the menu music still doesn't play. It might be worth a try. More information can be found here. (http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=15406&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40) (VDMsound is useless for Vista.)

Thanks for the tip, the sound is ok now! Even so, I'm still not going to buy Glidos because the game has crashed a couple of times, I'm not sure about it yet..

I tried installing it and then running it via Vdos, but it doesn't fill the screen, and there's no sound.
Glidos didn't work at all.
I'm running Vista, obviously.
I didn't think this was gonna be such a hassle:( :S
