hi guys,what was the first thing on a tomb raider game that killed you?
for me it was the bear.
On a Tomb Raider was the spikes in the first level in TR3.
In this it was the bear IIRC.

The first thing that kill my Lara, was drowning & falling from a high distance. :vlol:
the wolves 4 me in caves :hea:
darts, they were so hard to see on my pc lol

I can't really remember, but I think the mummy in one of the Khamoon levels.

Probably the darts at the beginning of the level. lol. I was only five and I thought the goal of the game was to kill her. :(
because i first played trII the tiger in trII killed me

I remember I accidentaly performed that swam dive, I saw that beautiful movement I was like "Omg, that's beeeaaauuutifulll *.*" and then *THUD*! I got "T.T" after that and then I heard the sound of the ring menu comming up on my screen :p

The first thing that killed me was my self :D I was gunning down a monster (can't remember witch) and then I was jumping back and then I fell of a ledge and died :p

I played TRIII first, and it was those darn spikes that got me.
In TR1, it was either a bear or a raptor. I really can't remember but I'm pretty sure it was one of those.

The bats :vlol: i was like 5 and had no idea how to use a PS1 controller (Was so new to me at the time) and was just kinda pushing button and screaming for her to run away xD

To be fare i'm not really sure as it's been years since i played TR1 for the first time, may have been the bear or wolves.

probably died in the gym failing a jump, in the game proper i think it was either the pit with a save crystal next to it and a bear in (that is now not that deep and has a rope swing) or drowning in the village pond (which used to have a secret in)

Since TR2 was my first expirence at playing TR i think it was on the spiked walls near the start of the Great Wall level, got so disorientated then i started to panic, no chance, next thing i know i've got more holes in me than an Aero bar. As for the original TR it was the bear in the pit below near the save crystal as Lao-tzu mentioned.

oh yes. mind you i think it's a shame they have ironed that out now, tripping over and breaking your neck was such a good way to go back to your last save point!

It was City of Vilcabamba...I wondered if there is such a thing as falling damage in Tomb Raider.

My brother taught me the moves, he read the manual.
Fell from high place :(.. CRACK!!
Can't remember exactly but it was one of the following:
Slipped from a ledge and died (being already severely weakened from the first encounter with the bats and poisonous darts).
The wolves.
The bear.
Ran out of breath in the first swimming.
I remember dying in all 4 ways first time through, so it was one of them. :)
I jumped off the the banister in Lara's home.
I may have done it on purpose.

I don't remember, but with my track record I probably did it to myself by misjudging a jump and/or falling of a ledge.

Ah yes the great swan dive. I once managed to infamously hit a bit of land in the cistern doing that. I swear I was aiming for water when I took off.
I've done that. Aim for the huge expanse of water, hit the tiny bit of land. Typical.
