There have been plans to make a wonder woman movie, but with Joss Weadon off the project, I think there's still hope for the amazing amazon. But with Hollywoods current track record, I have a bad feeling it's gonna tank. Your opinions?

i was really excited about the movie as eliza dushku was up for the role of wonder woman.
it could be a flop though if they made it cheesy like charlies angels and an even worst film....catwoman

if they want the movie to sell then it needs a good strong cast and an amazing seriouse storyline.

I lost interest after Joss Whedon left the project.

I am a HUGE fan of the old school 70s era WW tv show. In my opinion next to the Christoper Reeve Superman films this was the only other almost 100% faithful translation of a DC comic character to live action.

If they EVER decide to get a WW movie working they HAVE to cast Lynda Carter as Queen Hippolyta otherwise known as Queen of the Amazons, she still looks great in her mid 50s.

From her last film Sky High in 2005

PS I have all 3 seasons of the Wonder Woman tv show on dvd, season 1 takes place in WWII, the others in the present (well in the late 70s ;) ).
