Which fight, ex: Larson, Pierre, Natla, skateboard kid, bio-engineered human with half body, etc. did you find the hardest to beat? I would have to say the biological engineered human dude in Atlantis. I keep falling off the large lava pit because I focus too much on jumping around and killing him without looking where I'm jumping. :hea:

its really hard 2 tell but i think it was the torso 4 me :hea:

Yes the halfie was the worst for me. He kept pickin me up and then bashing the floor with me! Or I fell off the edge of the platform. :o
That skateboard kid always gives me great pleasure........ to kill.......

Torso, mainly due to me misjudging my jumps and hurtling off the platform accidently:whi:
The Torso Moneter is the hardest only because Lara moves like a tank in TR1 and you jump of the platform and die a lot. But the Centuar that blasts out of the rock still gives me a heart attack everytime I play it. Natla wouldnt have been harder if I couldnt go into a certian spot at the edge of the pyrimid and have her stay flying in a certain space so I can shoot her but her fireballs just hit the wall and not me. The people fights in Natla's Mines were a little difficult because I usually dont get my weapons first thing before I fight them.
Torso - for the first time, nobody - for the second :)
Skateboard kid. He's using uzis on you so he'll take you down in three seconds. The torso was pretty easy, Just run in circles and shoot.

The Torso dude no question, i have to admit i just shot jump back grab ledge wait a second pull up and start shoting again, a chicken technic i know, as for the rest they were no problem.
None. I thought they were all easy :D

all other "bosses" were pretty easy (and torso just had it difficutlies because of the easy fall down all around it)
No idea. I've never actually died on a boss in TR1. The only TR where thats been the case.
Torso gave me less problems than Cowboy guy, who kept killing me because I didn't yet have the pistols. The first time I played through TR1, I went past that boss fight without doing it, which meant taking hits in the back as I jumped down. It was awkward.
By comparison, I found Skater boi and Shaft extremely easy. I just did the usual TR trick of running around them and shooting them when I could.
Can't say I found any off the boss fights in this game particularly hard, not even the torso. IMO, the regular Atlanteans - especially the centaurs - were a lot tougher to beat, as they tended to gang up on you.

I had a similar experience with the Cowboy guy - I thought I had to trick him into falling down a lava pit or something ... tried for ages with no success (obviously! :p) ... finally just checked the walkthrough and discovered that I had to get the pistols first. :o

I can't remember. I think I didn't have problems with any of them in my first time through.
Torso got me once.the others never killed me.

I have to say, this game was too easy, the torso monster wasn't the hardest thing kill for me. ;)

okay, pretty boring to watch, but it got the job done.
For me the hardest was the spider thing at the end of TR III.... damn annoying 'ting he was!

My stratagey exactly. But it is a boring one. MMAN jumped around which for me, is hard. So this strategy (above) helps well.
All i could think of is 2 bosses torso and natla. probably torso.

Torso simply because of the risk of falling off. I simply went in a semi-circle back and forth using the uzi's.
As for the cowboy I simply jumped down without fighting him a few times I played.
Natla was a let down, she went down easy.
Natla. Cause the room wouldnt stop shaking and it was hard to control her
definitly the torso guy!(not from the tomb raider 1 that one was easy!)..all i wanted is to kick my pc down, i was allways falling off! But it spiced the game up!
The torso/bacon monster/Cuddles was hardest for me. He takes ages and ages to kill, even with the uzis. Natla was just far too easy to be the final boss.
In Anniversary, however, I'd have to say that the T-Rex was hardest, then the bosses just got easier and easier.

I would say the Centaur, especially after I killed the first one, ran back outside only to find that the second one was now alive (Made me jump it did).
Torso beast scared me. And used up all of my shotgun shells. ALL OF THEM. I had over 30!!! :cen: *LOL*
I actually found the Natla fight dissapointingly easy at the end. Anyone else?
PS for Teeth> Cuddles? :-)

I didn't think any of them were really that hard to defeat. The Torso guy was quite easy all i had to do was hang off the ledge and keep popping up now and again and shoot him.
torso.it kept throwing me off the edge...so annoying!:D

Stumpy the torso dude. I actually had to resort to walkthrough tips to beat him to my shame. As with anything it's easy once you know how, of course.

R we talking about Tomb Raider 1 or Tomb Raider: Anniversary?
Tomb Raider 1: at first (given the fact that this *was* the very first Tomb Raider game ever) the torso legless monster was difficult as well as many of those aliens, but nowadays there is nothing that could kill me (it's still a close call sometimes, but that's why TR1 is still a classic and soooooooooo much fun!) :D
Tomb Raider Anniversary: I haven't finished it yet (I only started playing 6 days ago) but so far I'd have to say the most difficult thing was the room with fire. Took me a few times and this was a matter of perfect timing in order to make it through. :(
Regarding the 2 centaurs: I have never understood why those were so difficult. Granted: Lara Croft has to keep on jumping and rolling and shooting and I DID get petrified and even kicked once or twice but in the end those centaurs are fairly easy (fun though) ... the dragon of TR2 was much more difficult. :)
The same is with the spider-creature at the end of TRIII ... I hear soooo many complaints, but I never found it difficult. You have so much room to manoeuvre around ... what's the problem? :confused:
I don't mean to brag, but I can safely say that after 11 years of non-stop Tomb Raider-games, I can basically kill everything as long as I get the proper space to move around ... :o

Torso is annoying, because it takes ages. Natla was so easy, I was nervous first but when I finally got to her I was like... that was it? Well mmkay, and ran to the exit.

ohh memories, I'd say torso-man definatly, every time I jupmed to avoid him I kept falling off the edge! it was funny at first then it just got annoying. I thought that Natla would be hard because it ends with you about 100ft up on a platform fighting her but she went down pretty quick.
Torso monster. It was the only boss I couldn't kill on the first try, mainly due to falling off the edge. Also, it took forever to kill.

The Torso, definitely. It took the longest time to kill, and all that time you had precious little space for maneuvering (unlike with Natla and the Rex, where you had plenty of space for running around) - and it was way too easy to fall off that platform.
Yeah, probaly the torso. Altho, the 2nd Centaur in the Sanctuary caused be a lot of grief. I was fresh out of Medipacks and he kept blasting me into oblivion ;)
Just to avoid what everyone else is saying...
Skateboard kid could be a little tricky if you were low on health.

doppleganger was hard kind of,but the guy with half a body was really hard!!!!
Doppleganger is reeeallly hard to beat when you have no look button on the laptop! :D
If yo didnt get guns first then the people in Natlas mines are hardest but if not then the Torso because he takes forever to kill and hes HUGE (asuming its a he we cant tell)
When I played this game for the first time back in the day the Torso boss was the most diffcult for me because I kept falling off the edge, these days I can almost defeat it with my eyes closed lol
Skate board kid. It is actually possible to get out without killing Natla at all. I didn't have the heart to kill such an evil, yet very interesting being. :rolleyes:
The fight with Torso was the most harder for me. But today it isn't now i take under 3 or 4 minutos to kill him. But year ago i took almost 20 to beat it. Lol. In that time i always hanged Lara on the ledge and then come up and shoot and when it aproached i hanged the ledge again, That is the reason why it took so long to beat him.
