Isn't dawn of the dead about hell being full, and dead people roaming the earth because of it?

I thought it kinda looked like a RE ripoff.

It's not a Resident Evil rip off, it was made way before R.E. ;) the original was out in 1978 like i said before. Resident Evil has a better storyline and told you how the virus got out etc, where as on DOTD this woman wakes up one morning and suddenly everyone but a few are zombified http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif although it was kind of far fetched it showed how easily mankind can be wiped out. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

I haven't seen the re-make of Dawn of the dead, but the original is one of my all time favourite films. It was on British terrestrial last night, and made me incredibly tired at work this morning because it didn't finish until 2am. It was still as good as it's always been, though. George Romero (director) is an absolute genious.
