Greetings.

To preserve the enjoyment of the final Harry Potter book, please DO NOT post spoilers in your thread titles. Feel free to create a dedicated thread containing spoilers, but please do not spoil other folk's journey, including mine.

If you don't want spoilers, you better stay off the Internet for a while.. The place if full of them lately :p

A lot of people (including myself) are deeply grateful for this!

Nice move! :tmb: I never thought of the fact that someone could easily post a major spoiler in a thread title.

Thanks Justin. I can now live my life without the constant fear of being spoiled.

According to my calculations I am 1/11.9 (1dp) of the way through the book (i.e. on Page 51 or 8.4% (1dp) through) and I am BLOODY LOVING IT and HATING IT at the same time because it's the last one.

:) :(

I read that the first person to finish the book is the world speed-reading champion. Who finished the book in 47 Minutes, 1 Second. They have a reading rate of ~4,244 Words per Minute.

I don't see why we don't just stick to the general harry potter thread...

47 minutes? I doubt that is even possible unless he skim read it, and he'ld have to do that ridiculously fast as well.

Yea, but they would put all the other mods out of business. :ton:

Thank you for this, Justin

I was very annoyed 2 years ago when a certain young forum member posted a MAJOR spoiler without tags before I got a chance to read the book. And had the gaul to think it was funny for spoiling it

Do we have a spoiler tags feature on this forum? I've seen one used on another vBulletin forum, but I think this was devised by the admins of that forum and is not a feature of vBulletin.

Yeah, I've seen them on other vBulletin forums too. It's like :

[ spoiler ] with [ / spoiler ]

without the spaces.

That's what I use on other forums. ;)
