View Full Version : Second pillar in tomb of qualopec isn't able to move
when the rolling stone comes and destroys the floor of the stone bridge, the second pillar didn't become available for moving! Can anyone help?
You need to break the second part of the floor. You just need to climb on the left side of the room and shoot at the gong hanging on the roof.

hell with Crystal Dinamics!
it s actually possible to complete this part with only 1 pillar.
i did this the second time i played.i didnt even go up to destroy the floor.
it was hard but possible.
That's weird... do you have the aiming crosshair? Like press the right mouse button and then shoot (I might be confusing the controls though XD)

I've only ever done it with 1 pillar, try that :p
but the third door only opens if you destroy the thing in the ceiling right?
Destroying the gong you gain access to a ring which you can grapple and swing to access a lever which opens a door.

Let me see if I got this right. Have you climbed on the top of the room? Its from there you have to shoot it.

is it openable any other way?

get ontop of the entrance to the threedoors, after getting onto the ledges on the side of the entrances (using one piller) you can jump to a horizontal bar climb up and jump off onto the platform and shoot the gong and swing to the switch (sorry if you have already thried it, go to youtube and search for Tomb of Qualopec walkthrough videos for visual help if you need it.

Have you completed the left door? (If your face is pointing to the 3 gates). If so: Go to the left door's entrance and look to the gates, where the stone slides. Near to it, you will see the ultra-bright shiny ledges. You have to climb those so you can reach the top of the room and destroy what you are trying to destroy.
PS: BTW, you don't have to shoot anything to move the second pillar (the one near the entrance, on the ground floor).
thanks guys i'm already in st francis folly!

If you're now in St. Francis Folly, then there's a possibility that you may change your ideas about TR:A. This level is huge and very funny, the next one a little small (not in size of course!!) but I think that since St. francis folly, lvls get better (though I like the Lost Valley)
Don't compare the game and now that you are in this lvl you now shall use wall-run moves (hard for beginners, nice and funny for lovers and those who mastered it...)
Enjoy the game and give it a chance

yeah st francis folly is a great level... i liked this one, and the run wall is an easy part of the game for me at least... but i just would like to have the old controls back... it would make somethings easier! i'm on the colisseum now...
and i also liked the lost valley, i loved those deep pits jumps... the game isn't that bad but there's lot of things that should be improved
