OK, I have £5.00, and saw the first edition of TR1 for the PS1. I already have the game on PS1, but it is a later, re-released version. Shoudl I buy the game for a sake of a, "Ooh, look it's the very rare first edition, bet you haven't got it, have you?", or should I spend my money on better things? :)

It depends on your mindset. Do you want a complete collection? Can you play and enjoy a game with "ancient" graphics? Can you handle the old controls? If so than buy it since the game is a great one in all areas (old graphics aside). But how different it is from your existing copy I don't know.

Anyway, I visitied the shop today in the hope of finding it. Unfortunately it wasn't there, but instead I bought the rare Sega Saturn version of Tomb Raider for £2.99! :jmp:

I think you should.

Better things? Like what? 5 quid isn't much for what you'll get. I have 5 or 6 TR1s- and if I see others I'll still get them too. PC or PS
(Currently tracking a TR2 gold on ebay ATM. SHHHH don't tell anyone, it's going cheap)

Of course you should, if indeed you are a TR lover then you must purchase immediately no question's asked, if this is an original you have a rare gem on your hands but you could probably find it on ebay. :D
Throw caution to the wind and buy it ;)
Thats depends if there no any thing else you want to buy it you can buy the game, but you have to think first if there is somthing else more important in addition that you have to leave with you some money for emergency. Its up to you man :)
