A group of engineering students from Purdue University recorded that their licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. They tried the same licking test on 20 volunteers and found that the average licks to the center were 252 licks.

Students at Whittier Elementary in Waukesha, WI determined that it takes an average of 9 minutes to reach the center of a Tootsie Pop.

ok here...
1. How many odd numbers are in the 100th row of Pascalís triangle?

2. How many entries in the 100th row of Pascalís triangle are divisible by 3? By 5?

3. When you divide a number by 2, the remainder is 0 or 1. Color the entries in Pascalís triangle according to this remainder. You get a visual pattern. Can you explain it? Can you generate the pattern on a computer?

Ok. New question that will totally be off the top of my head:
What are the steps in the cellular respiration cycle? (I don't even remember the answer to this from Biology... Summer just helps my brain rot away! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif )

(later renamed "The Brak Show") and Brak was going to watch Thunderclees' fish (Mr. Tickles). When be (brak) rang the doorbell, Thunderclees asked "Whose there" and he said "Sausage Mahoney". It just kinda stuck with me, my other nicknames include: Hollywood, Petey Baby, Petry (pronounced pet re), McKracken, Hey You, and Osbourne. My name is really Pete Falck. Hollywood came from when I played football (b4 my heart disease was discovered) I wore a pair of sunglasses to preatice. Then i forgot to take them off when I got to the field and one of my coaches said "Hey, Hollywood!" and i looked around like WTF? lol and then he's like "Hey, Petey! This isn't Hollywood! Loose the glasses!"... there are ALOT more football stories but thats not what was asked.

Summer just helps my brain rot away! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif )There are three main stages of cellular respiration: 1) glycolysis, 2) Krebs Cycle, and 3) the Electron Transport Chain (ETC).

I know I said I would also e-mail the answers, but my internet is being slow since I'm downloading an ass load of music

Maybe you can help me finish up my AP Gov't summer work by finding the answers to these last two questions. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

What party dominated Congress from 1953-1980?

Why was the Congressional election of 1994 significant?

:D ;)

Isabella
20-07-03, 17:30
Wow Celli, try not to have too much fun with that http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
By the way is it getting very dark where you are? The sky here is a gorgeous deep purple. I just hope we don't lose power again

Celli
20-07-03, 17:35
It's not too dark, it's sprinkling a little bit, but nothing serious really.

Do you want to hear some of the other questions I had for AP Gov't? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

What was the Progressive Era? In what ways did the Progressive Era change the roles and functions of the national government?

What and when was the Great Depression? What was the New Deal? How did the Great Depression change the roles of the national government? List 2 examples of new programs created during the Great Depression.

I had 4 questions like that, followed by two more questions that together, asked who won the elections between 1932-2000, what was their political party, and who did they defeat. And that's just for AP Gov't. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif I still have two packets to do for AP History, and read chapter two still in the book. And then I still have to finish reading Their Eyes Were Watching God and The Stranger for AP Lit.

Fun summer isn't it? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
