Hey there, I am a bit confused so I would really appreciate some help on this small problem.
I have just recently bought TR1, the classic game, and I downloaded the required patches, etc. for it to play in my computer (Windows XP). Everything seems to be working fine at the moment, but my concern is the music.
I can hear the music from the intro and the FMVs or cut scenes perfectly, but I haven’t heard any music during the main menu like I can hear the main theme in TRIII (rotating screen that allows you to select the mansion, load games, etc.) or during the gameplay sequences (like, when suddenly a tiger attacks you in TRIII and you get this creepy/action music for a few seconds).
I would please like to know when it’s the first time or in what places am I supposed to hear some music in this game. Im currently in the second level of Peru, and still haven’t heard any music in the game (not counting the intro and the first FMV).
Remember, Im taking about the original TR1 game, the classic one.
Is this the way its supposed to be? And when am I supposed to hear the main theme play? Because its not playing during the main menu rotating screen. Please, I would very much appreciate it if you guys told me if all this is just fine, or if I need to install another program for the music to play.
When and in what sequences of the game am I supposed to hear some music? Does the main menu have any music at all? Many thanks to all!
Im a huge TR fan, but its the first time I play TR1 in my Windows XP, so please help me. I have forgotten how it originally to worked in Windows 95.
