View Full Version : Any news on Desperate Housewives season 4? season 3 spoiler inside.
Here's the thing. I just watched all episodes of season 3, great season btw, except that I hate Ian and Victor.
Anyway...the last episode ended with Edie hanging herself.
Anyone official word if she'll be in season 4? I sure hope so. I'm not so fond of losing main characters. Especially ones I grew attached to... :) Like Bree, Edie and Lynette.
I'm fairly sure she survives, and her sister is set to appear in Season 4. I'd be sad to see Edie go too... She can be a *****... but thats why I love her :D
I hope not...I think Edie was only just starting to progress beyond the 2 dimensional neighbourhood "hussy" that the writers portrayed her as. There's so much potential to her character developing.

yeah, I wanna see more edie too. But I suppose, if she survived, her character will have sudden changes having confronted with death and being gifted with a second chance to live.
i've heard rumours that Claire King might be playing Edie's sister. Any Brits here might know her, she played Kim Tate in Emmerdale and also Karen Betts in Bad Girls (I LOVE bad girls!!!)

I'm not sure about this season.
Season 3 went downhill for me after the Orson plotline ended(which was too early). Lynette having cancer or Gabby's new husband don't really interest me either. I'll probably watch the first 2 episodes to see if Edie's truly dead.

Frankly, I'm more interested in finding out about Arthur. Was he really a paedophile? Also, I hope they get to find out that Orsen was the one who ran over Mike at the end of season 2...Maybe it will end his marriage to Bree... Not that I have anything against Orsen, now that he's proven innocent.
Or course, finding out if Edie is still alive remains my number one priority.

It would be cool if Arthur came back and kidnapped Parker or something....interesting plot right there. I wouldn't want anything to happen to him of course, but I have no doubts that Arthur was a paedophile.
I actually didn't really care for Edie's characterisation in S3...I prefer her as town slut :D
I think Orsen only told Bree about Monique...or however you spell it. If he were to tell her about Mike, I don't think that Bree, being Bree, would've kept this for the police, or her friend Susan and let Mike take the fall...But then again, what people wouldn't do to protect their loved ones. She did protect Andrew after he ran over Juanita. But what Orsen did was on purpose, and being with someone capable of that violence on purpose...no one wouldn't exactly feel safe. That's why I think he hasn't told her anything about Mike.
And before he left his mother at the hospital, Orsen told his mother "Good news mother. Your stroke has left you completely paralised. You can't even talk. Which means, our secrets are finally safe..."

No, Bree does not know that Orson ran over Mike. because he still has secrets, referring to the conversation between Orson and his stroked mother. Oh, she is so ugly. In the show that is. :tea:

Well I guess if came out, Bree'd still back up Orson....they've been through a lot at this stage.
