How did you feel when you first heard the music at the end of caves? you know the music in the hallway with the flying darts right after the timed door puzzle? And in vilcabamba with the swinging axe hallway?

I didn't have music on my first time through, so I didn't have any such feelings.

Did you ever hear that music before? Ever in your whole life? I did 9 years ago. And how come that music didn't play in Qualopec the part where lara grabs the scion?

I don't recall that music but the most memorable music for me is first heard in caves after the first save crystal and you go down the steps and get attacked by the dogs.

Very dramatic synth-strings music....turned my blood to cold water!

Was it scary?
Surely one of the spookiest.

How come that music didn't play in any other levels like qualopec?

I guess level designers didn't feel like putting it there.

I think it was saved for special scary moments! :yik:

Well that just stinks. In the part in qualopec where you grab the scion they put different music there instead of the creepy music.

I've never heard the in-game music in TR1... In my sold out version there's no music... and no sounds in cutscenes.. only in FMVs.

yes, it SUCKS!!! I bet I'm missing so much.

TR delivers a timeless score at key moments throughout, and i have to say on levels like Sanctuary of the Scion when you first see the giant sphinx the music gives the area such a dramatic feel, awesome!. :D

Did the creepy music play in any of the unfinished business levels too or just the original game?

There is a particular piece of music that I love in Sanctuary of the Scion when lara emerges from behind one of the the sphinx's leg/arm, brilliant, but I have no idea what it is called:(

When I first heard it, I felt angry at Core for leaving it out of the PC version. It really enhances the game a lot.

UB was on PC only and there's no music in the PC version.

Wtf? No music in TR1 pc version? I thought there was just something wrong with my TR1 sold out.

The music is pretty damn amazing, but i remember being rather frightened when i heard one bit, as music usually means baddiez :(

On my old PS1, before I sold TR1, () I had heard the music. The music when Lara picks up a piece of the Scion in Qualopec's tomb really had me stunned.

I thought this thread was going to be about when it starts playing at the menu screen. That was the best part for me, but other than that all the music is beautiful :)

It was that main theme music at the menu screen that really got my attention. They say that first impressions are so important, and when I heard that amazing music I just knew that this game was going to be very special.

I loved the music when I first heard it, except the music when you first meet the T-Rex, that was horrible and scary! I hated it every time it came up.

I think some of the music was inapproprately placed, and over placed in some areas. E.x. Like in the first level they played the dramatic looong music when 2 wolves appeared. TWO!! I could understand 5 or 6, and then maybe a bear, but TWO wolves! I was alittle irratated. :(

** Luv the music btw! ;)

I also felt ashtonished! (spelling?) because the music in tr1 was so unique and un-heard to human ears.

I was amazed, the tunes that I heard were irresistible, superior and unequalled. :)

But seriously, the TR1 theme is a great piece whether it was in the game or simply a bit of music of it's own.

I love the music in tr1 it's just so magical, creepy, and well good. It's unique and it makes me have this special feeling whenever I hear the theme song.
