it got 10/10................in a UK Xbox magazine

magazines dedicated to a specific console are totally biased toward "hyped" titles, i expect MGS4 to get 10/10 in the PlayStation mag...doesn't mean it's going to destroy all that stands in it's way though :D

i tend to ignore PS mags on "hyped" titles and go by unbiased website reviews.

trouble is i find it difficult to find Pro-Sony sites :vlol:

oh! and on record.............this does indeed look like a good game, another fine exclusive in the 360 camp :) *see i aint totally anti 360*

I agree about hype from affiliated mags. The link pointed out that Bioshock got even better reviews that Halo2. Put in that perspective it makes bioshock definately a game to check out.

Well, it got a 95% from PC gamer, so it can't be magazine-bias or whatever.

i read about this game in a PS mag, plot wise it sounded very interesting,looked pretty good too, had this game still be coming to PS3 i may have given it a look, but alas, the PS3 version was ditched and so it's now PC/360 exclusive

I have been looking forward to this game since it was announced. From the makers of System Shock 2. You knew it was going to be good.

For those just taking a look at it be sure to watch the gameplay movies that have been released they will blow your mind.

This game is definitely the "real deal" as they say. Unlike a lot of hyped games Bioshock has never had any of those nagging "yeah, but I hope they improve this" or "I'm sure this will be fixed in the final version" comments attached to it. Every preview and hands-on feature I've seen only raves about the game more than the earlier previews! I'm sure many gamers will consider it a 10/10 personally, and I won't be surprised to see 9+ scores all the way around from magazines and web sites. This is on my MUST BUY list, that's for sure!

Hmmm, I wasn't actually interested in this game before. My first thought of the game was "Another FPS, no thanks". I'm not a big fan of FPS's. Since its got a 10/10 I'll have a go of the demo and see what I think of it.

At first I thought that, until I read up on the game a little bit... what they've tried to do (and seemingly accomplished) is incredible... the only way this is "just another FPS" is because it's a 1st person perspective game... it's so much more than other FPS's in every other way though!

Seen gameplay vids, looks seriously playable... plus it's out in August 21st if Im not mistaken :]
