Static Collision Help

I've been trying for days to get the Static Mesh steps to act like steps.

This is what I have done.

The original Static Mesh from another level with the default Bounding box

Set it up like this as a experiment

Without a block under the mesh. As you see she goes through the mesh.

With a slanted block under the mesh. As you see her feet are sticking through the mesh.

Next I tried the Automatic Bounding

She doesn't run up the mesh now, you have to jump onto it.

And again her feet disappear through the mesh.

And the same for the slanted block. She has to jump to get on to the steps, where her feet disappear through the mesh.

Ah yes :) it did!

I checked the Coastal.TR4 level where the steps are and it does the same behaviour; foot sinks through the mesh
