View Full Version : Idea for a future game
well as some of you noticed i went on some little vacations! and i went to a place called santiago de compostela! well there's a huge cathedral there and it has something to do with the story of jesus and his followers...
that cathedral is suposed to have the mortal remains of one of jesus followers, called tiago... i don't know his name on english sorry!
so it would give a nice scenario for a game about the holy grail and such...
what do you think?

The bible is always ripe for uncovering mysteries, but why would the player care about this guy? whats so special about him? if we have to use the bible as a reference again, I'd much rather explore the garden of eden or sonething a little more... dynamic. and there are so many other beautiful religions to explore. Why do the catholic thing again?
because Christianity is the best religion ;) ... just kidding!
well, I suppose it could work given the right circumstances... but there are so many possibilities really..
well this guy is very important, since he his a disciple of jesus... and it could be related to the myth of the Holy Grail and jesus family... of course i don't want to say that all the games should be about Christianity...
it sounds interesting to me. i'd play it if it involved the MYTH of jesus and his followers. but i wouldn't be so keen if the game implied that the Bible and all its stories are real, seeing as i'm not exactly a fan of religion. but that's just me of course
I think they should include the Holy Grail in TR8 since we already had Arthur, Excalibur and Avalon in Legend. The two myths are inseparably connected, and I think the Grail would be a perfect artifact for a TR game. Pretty much everybody knows the story, so it makes for a much more interesting prize than something they just made up. The downside is that it was already used in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
yeah, but they could always use the disciples of jesus for a new game! Like searchingsantiago tomb, then searching for clues to another tombs of the other disciples, and then finding the true relic! the jesus tomb with the holy grail!
Well, with Eden, there is the little matter of the flaming sword at the gate.........
I'm not sure if the Holy Grail can still be found. In the legend of King Arthur, a virtuous Knight found the Grail and went to Heaven with it, leaving his mortal body behind.
But that version describes the Grail as a plate.
Other accounts (not King Arthur) describe it as a cup.
I've always thought there were two Grails, a plate and a cup.
Anyone found the cup yet?
