If you're a PS2 guy then the PC version will freak you out.
And they said the controls on AOD were bad. At least the AOD PC controls were classic TR. TRA on PC is really wacky, and you use the mouse to move the camera, and the kursor keys to move. Then you have to move your hands around to do the other things.
Stick to PS2 if I were you, you might end up traumatized.
I also think this game is great, but it is a console game through and through - that's not say you couldn't use a gamepad - but I am also a compulsive modder, so I have both. But if I want to have fun adventuring it's PS2 everytime.

aaaaah well im actually a girl, not a guy! i also have a laptop, so no mouse, wich may be worse! ok, il pass for now!! thanks!
Don't bother. If you don't have a mouse, I'd use a gamepad anyway, and considering that the only difference to the PS2 version is marginally better graphics, it's just not worth buying the game twice.

Why don't you use the WASD keys?

If you want to get on PC use a gamepad much easier to use that way and can set up how you normally play on a console.
I'm a PC player and have had no major problems with the controls. The combination mouse + keyboard is a really fluid and easy way to play - and if you don't like the defaults you can change them to a set you're more comfortable with.
I've never been happy using gamepads.

Me too Greenkey! WASD is good, and even better than old controls!!! But some players don't like to play with the mouse and they use the ARROW keys. I think that's why they have difficulties!!!
Well being a playstation player for years, this is the first game where l actually preferred the PC controls, l thought the keyboard and mouse controls were fantastic, better than Legends, much more responsive this time. Legend on the PC was a bit of a shock having played the XBox and PS2 versions first, l really had trouble coming to terms with the mouse controlled camera. l have played a few other games with similar controls since, and played the PC version first this time, loved it. Had a go at the PS2 version, but preferred the PC controls, l will eventually complete the PS2 version.
