Anyone noticed this little bit in the Lost Valley?

Jump in!
But be warned - if you land in the bit of water between either waterfalls (http://i9.tinypic.com/6g1td3o.jpg):

On PC: She gets dragged off by the current as usual.
On PS2: She drowns immediately.

Anyone have a clue as to why?

I don't know why... but she drowns too, when I do that jump (PC) very annoying.

She always dies on my PC version when I dive into the water from that spot.

Mad one, maybe I have a freak version! :yik: I'm always leaping into those cascades from there on my pc, and she's never drowned for me. I tried it on the Ps2 yesterday and each time I did it she drowned on impact!

Its really weird maybe the water is shallow so she dies then drowns on small amount of water? :p

That always happens to me on the PS2, too. :confused:

I like jumping from a great height with the infinite health cheat on, and Lara goes "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH", even when she's recovered form the fall and she's running about again! :D

I don't know why... but she drowns too, when I do that jump (PC) very annoying.

Sometimes she drowns and sometimes she dives, but this does not only happen from the opening in the secret hidden by the waterfall, it also happens if she swan dives from the place where the cog is on PC

On the PC l swan dive from where Lara is in the screenshot she survives fine and goes over the lower waterfall. Still have not played my PS2 version :o

When I played the demo version on PC she died every time. Now she does not die at all in the version on PC I have.

She knew to die for me as well, especially when diving off the place where you pick up the Shotgun.

Nope. She doesn't die for me? Although jumping off further away from the bridge, that kills her. Here's a video I made up as I was bored. :tmb:

For me, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't on both versions.

Only dies if I jump her into the falls along the top, if I jump her into the river, she justs washes down to the lower falls.

turn your system volume down on your computer next time you record, the audio is clipping so badly! ;)

Anyway, I've swan dived out of where the shotgun is around there and drowned and other times I haven't it just likes being fickle. :D (PC)
