Downloading right now ;)
A nice accurate rendering of the 'Jeep Thrills' melody, and that junglist beat that comes in at 0.20 reminds me of the percussion on the Event Horizon soundtrack.
Nice production with those mesmerizing synth loops. And I'm sure I recognise that muffled ethnic vocal sample - I think I've got that somewhere in my collection!
Great stuff, why did you never release it originally? You'll have to tell me what sequencer you used for it, just out of interest.
Oh, and I'd love to see a pic of your studio. I've updated my website the other day to include pics pf my new equipment. You can see the current layout of my studio at the very bottom of my 'image gallery' page:
Quality product as usual Marcus - keep it up...!

At the time, I also had a section with the site Tomb Raider World Wide (partly run by the founder of the site Tomb Raider 2000). We're talking 4 years ago. I was considering making this an exclusive via TRWW, but it never came to that. I decided to save it for a later opportunity for Croft Times... and, well... time passed, and for some reason, I haven't released until now.
As for sequencer, to this date, I've always used SoundForge for recording/editing/assembling tunes. It's not really a sequencer, but a sound editing software, I'm sure you know of it. Most of the tunes I have online today, are made with a synthesizer: Ensoniq SQ1 Plus. That synth has a built in sequencer, but all sounds are recorded separately into SoundForge and edited there. I've been using very simple means to achieve music. I got a reverb processor and drum machine later on. It is only in more recent days that I've aquired more equipment. Now I have two synths, a drum machine, a mixer table, reverb processor, and a dynamic processor, and some of these things have yet to be heard...
Nice pictures Chris http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I'll try to have some pictures of my stuff up here as well.
Thanks everyone for your comments so far, glad you're enjoying it http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
