I am interested because i've been spending ALOT of time on the internet lately, and i'm hoping someone will post and tell me they spend more time online than me to make me feel better (joke).

Seriously though. I'm talking about sustained periods of time. Not including breaks like having dinner etc.

How many hours a day?

During the summer, I was on like all day. Seven hours I think ?
But now with me back in school ,it's three hours and then always being on for like 2o minutes before I go to school.

In school days, less than one hour, even nothing !

In the summer around 10 or + hours ;)

I haven't done this lately, but when I first got the Internet, I could and I would spend about nine consecutive hours on the computer. :o

Now I don't do it for much longer than two hours, unless I'm writing a paper or there's just absolutely nothing else for me to do.

Today I have been online all day. I haven't actually left the house :(

My own fault. Suppose I should find something else to do whilst i'm not working.

Depends really, can be anywhere from 0-10 hours. I'm usually out a lot of the time now so its about 5 hours average.

Way too much time is the answer for me.

During the summer, I'd be on and off the computer all day. The computer is in the middle of my three-room "zone" of the house (it's in the gameroom, which is right next to my bedroom and bathroom) so it's hard to avoid the temptation of getting online.

During the summer: almost all day.
During school: 3-or-so hours.

Summer time? A lot. 6 hours or more in one day.
Now? Not so much because of work and school. Maybe an hour or so a day.

I usually clock up a couple of hours a day at least, sometimes more if MSN is busy. Other times I can get home from work and just be way too tired to want to sit at the PC, so it depends really

Same here since 97. I have 2 desktops and a laptop, my husband a desktop and a laptop, and we have wireless cable. 5 computers for 2 people in the house. I'm very curious and always think of something to look up.

The short answer is: too much time.

The long answer: anywhere from 3-12 hours a day. Usually get up and check email first, answer emails etc. If working, then none until I get home where I will spend at least another 3 hours, playing Star Wars Galaxies, emails, forums etc.

If not working that day, I'll exercise and do stuff between sets, and spend most of my day online, going out, then coming back etc.

TOO MUCH INTERNET!

I have internet at work, so it is avaliable and I putter around with it during my 8-hour shift. At home I have 3 custom units that I use for gaming and modding, and I can spend hours and hours modding outfits when I'm in the mood. I'm getting ready to go online at home for the first time, so that will add a new dynamic and I'm not really sure what to expect (though more posts from me and Junebug is very likely).

3-4 hours a day, and most of that is spent on the forums:D, probably should cut back and give my brain a rest, but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

I have my personal laptop at work along with my 2 other work pc's. I cannot talk much about the details of my work, but I am involved with keeping an eye and ear on our terrorist adversaries. But I usually have time (obviously) to post here and monitor the conversation. I usually connected a good 12 hours per day on average.

Ah, depends. If it's holidays or weekend the computer is basically switched on all the time, so.. O_o I don't think I'm addicted, it's more like I've got nothing else to do (well I do but nothing I'd like that much :p) at my free time.. I may go biking at times though, but I'm really not an athletic type person.

Krhm, but generally.. 6 to 24 hours a day. :whi:

Up until this week I was on the internet most of the time now I barely have time to check my emails let alone respond to topics and get into them as I'd like to.
I'd say I spend about an hour per day now.
