I really don't know what to expect with this film. Micheal Moore did a very interesting interview with Bill O'Reilly after it :cln:

Yeah, 9/11. Not sure what though, but i think it documents some of the incidents around it, like what was Mr Bush was actually doing at the time, and how he reacted. I really don't know what is it about.

It’s a well made film by a talented film maker, but it was also a totally wasted opportunity. It doesn’t even scratch the surface of ‘what really happened’ that day. It is entertaining enough but for real hard hitting, truth seeking stuff about 9/11, the better option would be something like Loose Change, In Plane Site or one of Alex Jones’s films.

Seen it before. It's boring imo.

I don't really like theatrical documentaries.

I think it was a totally warped and twisted representation of what really happened. I saw interviews with some of the people who were shown in Fahrenheit 9/11 and they said that Michael Moore took everything they said out of context and made it look however he wanted it to look. Some of the people were even complaining that he used footage of them without permission and misrepresented their backstory to make it fit with his agenda.

I have never seen Fahrenheit 9/11, but to me it looks like complete rubbish. That's just my opinion.

Very good film. There were a lot of things I didn't agree with, but it was none the less interesting to watch! :tmb:

This is one of those things that tends to fall along "party lines," conservatives and republicans think this is nothing but anti-Bush propaganda. A lot of liberals and Democrats think it is divinely inspired.

It's release in the US was in the heat of the run up to the last election, and a lot of people thought it would be the magic bullet to get rid of George Bush. Obviously it didn't work, and Michael Moore effectively ruined his reputation as a serious documentary maker.

Since then Michael Moore released a trashumentary about the US Healthcare system, but it has also been shown to be politically biased in favor of Moore's liberal views, and intentionally misrepresents facts and information.

I don't know what it is, just something about the guy irks me.

Plus theres been lots of work put out there proving that he takes a lot of liberties with the information he presents and he's not always accurate.

Oh and I have no intention of getting into any discussions with anybody about the accuracy of Moore's "documentaries", so I'll just leave it here.

I don't know what it is, just something about the guy irks me.

He is not asking you to like him, he is just asking you to listen to what he says, and basically he is saying in this movie the war in Iraq is/was unjustified.

Plus theres been lots of work put out there proving that he takes a lot of liberties with the information he presents and he's not always accurate.

Of course there is, but i say make up your own mind about it.
