View Full Version : Need Help - Lost City - Great Pyramid - Platform 4

Hi,
I need someone to take my gamesave:

And to get me up to the top of the 4th platform - I've tried countless times but I just can't get to the 4th platform. I'm on the 3rd one currently and I believe the fourth one is the last one, I've been playing like 3 weeks off an on on this last part. And I finally given up on it, I've tried the gamesaves to get past - but they all say corrupt.

So hopefully someone can take the gamesave I provided and just get me past this stupid lava climbing part, so I can continue the game. Just save the game and upload it somewhere, thanks in advance

EDIT: surely someone can help? I just need someone to do the last part for me, basically just push the button, and swing on to the 4th platform.

I keep dying when fighting the dragons because they push me into the lava, or when I swing I run out of time or can't make the initial jump. Hope some more experienced player can just do this one part for me.

I have finished the game now. Those ledges were very tricky. I don't know how to take someone's saved game and get them past that part and then get the save game again and post it back here or I would do it for you. Hopefully someone who knows how to do this will help you out.

I tried to load it, but it says that your savegame is damaged :( .
Did you try the savegames installer (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/tombraideranniversary/gamesaves.html) from Tomb Raider Chronicles ? I think it works on both the DVD version and the Steam version of the game. :wve:

I know how to do it..but it's just been difficult doing it.

you just download the save file and place it in my documents\eidos\{your profile}\

Then launch the game, load the save game, and play it. Make it to the autosave point, save the game. Upload it anywhere (http://www.rapidshare.com, http://www.storeandserve.com) and post the link here.

edit: yea I tried the savegames installer it says the saves are corrupt, I tried another place and the saves worked, but the save for that one part that I need was corrupt as well...it was probably the same saves only not in the installer.

I was stuck there too, the thing i found helpful was that dont try more than two times in one go. One more thing it looks that you cannot make running jump but if you let her go she by some magic trick grabs the ledge.

I'm on the 3rd platform heading to the forth, I've tried a bazillion times but I just can't get to the fourth platform - it may help to know that my computer isn't exactly the best so I get some very minor lag problems (nothing serious, but just a few microseconds of delay). I was able to do every other part, but I just need some kind soul to get me past this one point.

Sorry. I tried but it says your save is damaged and it couldn't load it. Maybe if you upload your profile and autosave as well it might work? I have no idea why TRA is so finicky with the saves. I'm replaying TRA right now anyway, and I'll probably get to that point soon, so I'll post my save here if you want (I haven't been collecting all of the artifacts, but at least it will let you see the rest of the game).

I just got past the entire vertical climb during my own replay. I transferred my save, autosave, and profile files to a new profile and it seems to work. Just unzip the folder and then place it in the My Documents > Eidos > Tomb Raider - Anniversary folder. Then when you get into the game change the profile to "Great Pyramid" and load the save. You may have to play around with the settings (controls, graphics, etc.) since mine are most likely different from yours. I do not know if the save will work if you try to place it directly into your own profile. Hopefully this solution will allow you to play the rest of the game and see it through to the ending :)
