Rob Zombies version?

I thought it was great :tmb: Totally fresh and interesting take on the franchise.....too different to be called a remake though. I enjoyed the fleshing out of Mike's character.

I really wish Rob'd stop casting his wife in pivotal roles in his movies though.......she really can't act :pi:

Yes, it's way different from the original one.
But I still am not able to feel confortable watching a horror movie when a little child plays the main character role.
Exept Regane from the Exorcist.

Apparently the workprint has a rape scene that was deleted from the final cut (because it was pointless, not because it was graphic.)

I'll probably do a double this weekend with Halloween and Shoot 'Em Up. Going in pretty reserved though since it appears as though Zombie could still be caught in the 'white trash are scary' ennui.

The original was 1,000,000x better, but the remake was... scary. It was so-so story-wise... :(

I think she's great. She wasn't good in House of 1000 Corpses though. That laugh was annoying as hell.
