Quick Sketch - WIP

Havn't posted here in flipping years! :o


I got bored today, and that mixed with doing watercolour in art gave me an urge to sketch something. That and I just looked at some amazing HDR photogrpahs of streets.

Anyway please critique on anything you think looks odd. And the perspective is meant to be wierd, I wanted to draw something different in that aspect

Cool, who is the girl in the middle, just a random girl?

Yer MadCroy101, just some complete random girl. I can't draw males so i had to stick a female in there. :D

Cute. Reminds me of Winhill :) (you probably don't know what that is but it's a huge compliment coming from me :D)

As for the drawing. It's nice/cute! :p

Well you've gotten the "weird perspective" right. I felt quite dizzy looking at the pic haha - congrats on that :p
My only nit-picky suggestion is that you could try and make it look a little less flat the main things being the shutters and the flowers.

However I love the style you've got going on...for some reason it reminds me of the streets of Alexandria in FFIX which is a good thing. :)

Thanks. Formatting my computer, college etc has taken up my life :mad:. Just that now I am more motivated to do stuff in my free time, like make pointless sketches of a girl walking in a wierd french town :D.

And I'll improve on the flowers etc when I start to really colour it, right now its just the general colour scheme thingy

Its actually quite hard to find anything on Google for Winhill but I've found this nifty little site here (http://www.winhill.org/fairytale/) that offers you a chance to tour around the town by clicking on various arrows.

Just slick on "landscape" and follow the instructions which are real simple >.<

Looking forward to seeing the finished piece :tmb:
