Lara Actaully Has Amanda's Summon Stone, For The Unkonw Entity, She Took It Off Of Her When She Was Stunned From The Final Battle. Do You Think That This Will Play Any Part In TR's Beyond Legend, TR8?

I'm very sure someone else posted something about this not so long ago... but I can't remember where... anyway, some think it will play a role in TR8, but personally I don't :)

It might turn out to be Lara's gateway into Avalon.

Well only one can use the sword, but presumably if Lara takes the stone with her, fluffy would also be going along for the ride. l doubt he could use the sword himself, so he would need someone to use it and take him with them.

When entering Avalon; Lara looses Amanda's thing while flying through.
But then [ It makes you think she catches it again, but really its another Lara ]

So Later on... Lara vs Dark Lara, to save her Mother! :yik:

; From a daydream i had, after reading this thread seconds ago.
Nice idea :tmb:

Didn't fluffy die when Amanda merged herself with him? "it only works once"- Amanda.

That makes the amulet/stone quite useless.

She was reffering to the portal, I believe :)

Fluffy is already dead, you only need look at his decayed state to work that out, you cannot kill what is already dead. He vanished, and in a fit of rage probably because Amanda was unconscious. He was under no ones control in Peru when he killed the other members of Lara and Amanda's group, presumably he is capable of independent action when no one is controlling the stone. l doubt Lara has the knowledge to use the stone, so presumably fluffy will bid his time till he gets where he wants to go.

Perhaps Lara will forget she has the stone, or consider it harmless now Amanda does not have it. Or perhaps she does know what fluffy was, and will take it with her because of that. The "only works once" was referring to the dais and sword, had nothing to do with fluffy.

I believe Lara will be posessed by the amulet, like Amanda. But you can't transform into Fluffy, since, like George said, Amanda says "It only works once."

We really don't know what was Fluffy: was it a guardian entity going crazy? From where did he came from? And Amanda states I only unleash it,which indicates the only control one can have over Fluffy is releasing it/imprisoning it ,but not dominating its actions.

It was never clearly explained, but I don't believe he was dead, once it was something of a different nature.

I don't think Lara will want to use something that killed her friends to help achieving her own purposes, but that's something CD will decide, depending on the plot they're creating.

Amanda says she tamed it, made it her own. It was certainly a malevolent killer before it met Amanda. Now he simply seems to do her bidding, he has killed no one since being under Amanda's control. Of course that could just mean he was trying to fool Amanda into thinking she had control of him. I feel we will find out in the next game what exactly, fluffy was up to.

Alas poor fluffy, he is only a torso, no legs.

Who do we know who had a similar accident

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j215/aussie500/AE%20game/tra2007Qualopec4.jpg

And has similar glowing yellow eyes, and hangs out in Peru.

Maybe it is just coincidence that they both have yellow glowing eyes, and half a body. Maybe fluffy is some other Atlantean who met a similar fate. There is after all still someone missing and unaccounted for.

Natla is likely alive here, and fluffy is dead, a mere shadow of his former self, but is there perhaps a family resemblance?

Err... I think that was referring to the portal thing...

EDIT: Fluffy my be an Atlantean, that's no doubt possible. I can tell you for sure that Atlantis and Avalon are linked. So many resemblances can't mean anything but a sublinal message. IMO

I think it all has to do with the tomb in Peru, after all, that's where the stone was first discovered, maybe it was another gateway to Avalon/Atlantis. :D

I read a book once about the similarities between the modern day UFO mythology and the old Faerie mythology (including Avalon). And one of the myths discussed was from South America and involved black spirits (I forget their names), dark creatures that came from the land of the faeries and stole humans to take back with them.

I always think of this creature as being one of these kidnappers. Almost like a foot-soldier or a robot/machine doing the bidding of others.

And if it is, maybe it will know how to get Lara over there...

It'll be interesting to see what their explanation is, that is if we do get an explanation at the end.

As a side issue. Is it just me or is this creature unscary? I mean, I know it's meant to be terrifying... but it isn't, it's just so cartoony.

Natla's a bit more fearsome, I don't know why, she just is. But again... not really hitting the mark for me.

Anyone else or is it just me? I really hope the next gen graphics and other effects make a difference in this way.

Blackmoor,I think the same. It wasn't scary, original, fearsome or even hard to fight.

You just had to jump like crazy and the trick was done.

I didn't find him scary either. Just kind of amusing. Especially the way he'd swipe at Lara and trip her up, then just float away. :D I think that he's scarier in Peru because you can't see him clearly.

But wouldn't it be a bit of a coincidence for Lara to randomly have stumbled across Qualopec AGAIN? Unless he was searching for her ... hmm ...
