Who do you think made a better bad guy in the films? Manfred Powell (Iain Glen) or Jonathan Reiss (Ciaran Hinds)? I think Manfred Powell was a better bad guy.

Both of them were so lame and cant be considered as bad guys...

They were so stupid and not dangerous...

Everything wwas focused on Lara..

this is ood, but other characters really needed some boost.. a huge one...

I think...that they were pretty much the same. Not identicle, but very much alike. The slicked back hair, the power suits, the high profile professions, their wealth, working for/with secret and select groups and being after the artefact to give them god-like powers. Both even fought with Lara hand-to-hand at the end of the game. They bored me. Where were the Sophia Leighs, the Von Croy's, the Dr Willards or the Natlas? Hell, where are the Amandas? Even Bartoli in TR2 (who we knew little about) was more interesting- at least her turned into a dragon at the end of the game. :D

Neither. That was one of the weakest points of both films. The story is only as good as its villian.

Reiss - I like the actor, Ciaran Hinds.

What a very interesting theory :D

I liked Powell more; his character, even if it wasn't that great, seemed to have more personality and development to me than Reiss. They were both pretty weak characters, though.
