did you have problems to pick up ammo for the shotgun etc. you should try to find the guns whatsoever. or try to reinstall the game.:o

One question do you have the shotgun? If so check your ammo, you could have full bullets already. There is a limit to how much ammo you can carry.

I think you can carry 8/32 with the shotgun.

Just as Minty Mouth said, there's a limit for how much ammo you can keep.:)

To fix the ammo glitch, keep shooting your shotgun bullets until you get to <=32. Now pick up ammo and you should have the 40 as your maximum.

You could experiment this yourself: If you have 40 ammo, keep shooting 'em and try picking the ammo to see which value of leftover ammo works.
