View Full Version : Lara's Compass atleast this time..!!
Part I
Many times earlier we have seen this compass as far as i know did mean anything to me.
I just used this to skip few levels...
So wer exactly do u think one used ths stuff at its best.
Part II
I need a level were lara is completely isolated in middle of a river were der's no sun , moon or stars to guide any were she has to hang around with a small peace of map and leav players to get solved wit compass....
or
she shud lose her paths in deeper caves were only hope of survival wud be this digital/analog compass..
or give us a chance to align few things that requires de use of compasss...
Let CD think over this nd giv players atleast some use of it...
Wat do u say..!!!:):o

Ah, cool. I like the idea of a puzzle needing the compass to solve it :D This is a good idea. Before, I was thinking that the compass could return as an optional hint device where it could point to the next objective. Now I think the compass itself could be part of the HUD, and then just the next-objective hint could be optional. That way, the compass could be used as part of a puzzle, like you said, without forcing hints upon the player :D
Could I possibly suggest, spelling properly in your posts and using proper paragraphing? :wve:
perswonlally i nver sawA point of the compass.. it only helped me sometime sto understand walkthroughs lol It was a nice feature though. Every adventurer should have one! ;)

I never thought the compass was of any use, but it was a nice touch, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
It feels right to have one in TR games just like flares do. Imagine a huge environment to explore and find your way out of instead of being directed down tunnels all the time.
Yeah place me in the game :ton:

Thats a nice idea. Or since TR8 will be on next gen systems, they can maybe create very large enviroments like in Assassin's Creed and the compass and help her guide through the jungles or villages. of course Lara will know rather to go north, south or whatever but its up to the player to use the compass to go the direction that Lara tells them to go.
