Title says it! I think jonelle is the best voice for lara in tr! Do you think she'll come back?:)

Strong. Sterm. Mature. Great sense of sarcasm. Independent
But since Crystal will no doubt keep the wimpy new emotional Lara, they'll no doubt keep quiet-as-a-mouse-keely...

Sadly, I don't think so. It looks like we're stuck with Keeley for now. :(
I doubt it, none of the other past voices have returned. I think they'll keep changing the voice actress to keep Lara 'fresh'.
If Keeley stays after TR8, she'll be the longest running voice we've had.
I dont think she will but I want her to be back! :)

Jonell sounds weirder to me.
Keeley Hawes is probably the most high-profiled voice actress Lara's ever had. Right now she's popular with most of us so I think she will be staying for quite a while. [correct me if I'm wrong though...]

Otherwise Keeley is pretty good I think. She just needs a decent script.

I liked JE and would love to hear "her" Lara again - but just to imagine her saying all those cheesy lines is painful enough. She deserves a decent script...
I didn't like Jonell in TR4 and TR5 but I liked her in TR6. The script in AoD wasn't great but I loved some of the lines such as "You unsavoury little runt" and "If I had a coconut every time a lunatic said something like that..."
I love keeley and jonell!! But just try to imagine legend lara saying "I feel stronger now" in jonells voice...

i cant really picture Jonell saying the kind of things that Keeley
and Jonell's voice was very suited to AOD not so much for TR4 and 5 but her young Lara was great you could really tell the differance between young Lara and grown Lara were as you couldnt with Legend, im talking about the young Lara were Amanda got trapped i know she wasnt 16 but i think there should have been a difference in voice.
anyway after saying all that yes i'd love Jonell to come back

I don't really care as I mostly hear the German voices.
But I have to say that I play Legend in English :D.
no, i hope she will not return, because the change of voices annoys me. i got used to Keeley's voice and i think its fine, though i think Jonelle's voice was ok too :)

No l do not think Jonelle will return so long as Crystal Dynamics is making the games, Lara is a lady now, as she was always meant to be, the voice actress would have to be able to talk like a lady with an upper class accent. Jonelle has the wrong accent, great voice, good voice actress, but she never sounded like a lady to me let alone an aristocrat.

honestly, i really hated her voice in TR4/5, so soft and wispy. "i'm tired, give a girl a break!" so whiny. and i hated the line "theres something your not telling me. i'm a big girl now"...not at all something lara would say.
juddith was the best voice for classic lara. then again, there was a different person doing the lines/script for TR2/3. not to mention, musical score.
but Jonell was amazing in TR6, very smooth, natural and distinct. a pleasure to listen to. her voice suited Aod lara. and juddith's fit TR2/3 lara.
i really doubt she'll come back tho. but i wouldnt want her to be lara's voice for future CD games. keely fits the emotional reck.

Agreed. :D Her voice is way too whiny.
Not a chance at the moment. It would be too weird for Legend Lara.

I strongly doubt it. I loved her voice but the new voice fits the new model perfectly, i don't think Jonelle's voice will fit the new Lara model. being that Crystal used Keeley hawes to voice, i believe that they are pleased with her so she might stay for future games. As with Karima, she's gonna be the model for Lara untill she reach a certain age maybe, being that Eidos invested a lot of money on her training and lessons.

I don't like Jonelle's baby like voice. But since it's the first Lara voice I ever heard I want it back

I doubt Jonelle will be back. Eidos and CD are happy with Keeley, I haven't seen a strong opposition from fans about her. Plus I think CD will stay away from anything linked with AoD.

I agree. I think Keeley is a talented actress, but I think some of the slight campiness or even whiney aspects to her version of Lara are down to the lines and whoever's directing her during recording sessions in Legend.

Keeley is fine as an actress. The script needs changing. They need to stop writing Lara with poor lines and lose the overly chirpy, overly depressive wimpy Lara.
