Even though the song has been performing well on the charts, it did not achieve success the way other Spears' singles did. This is due to the fact that the song has been around for so long. It was on Blackout and was announced as the fourth single off the album thus making appearances on the charts even before the video was shot. It was a success considering it was never released with a video. The following year with the release of Circus the song again charted well as it was a bonus track on the album. Then finally after charting in 2007 and 2008 the track was announced as the fourth single off Circus in 2009. This is the sole reason for it's failure to compete just as other Spears' singles for it has been around for three years and already has been purchased many times each year. Considering these circumstances the track is a popular modest hit.

Hopefully, i'll be using the Tour remix, which means that there's only the first verse, chorus and bridge, because I'm tired by time I finish the first chorus in the album version! I know what they mean, but I chose the Tour remix, because I'm nowhere near as good a dancer as Britney or her dancers in the performances/video of "Slave", so I didn't think I'd be able to pull off the whole routine, which is why I chose the Tour remix, because it's shorter, and has less to it, if you get me. And it sounds much more funkier and mechanical, which I like. :)

Drowned World/Substitute for Love. That was singing, not dancing mind. Would be pretty bad to dance to.

I struggled to get that "fire that I can spark" line out. I was literally shaking. I did a cut-down version of the album version, if that makes sense. It cut out half of the intro, missed the ending of the first verse and the whole second part of the second verse. It was the only instrumental I could find, but I wanted to do the whole song. :( what's the difference in the Confessions version?

Phonography is also immense. I'm not fond of Quicksand. I wouldn't mind if Phonography was a main track and Mmm Papi a bonus - though I'd have preferred Trouble as a main album song before either two.

Mmm Papi always sounds like a weird incestual 'I've never had a dad or he was never around me so I'm putting all my unresolved fatherly feelings onto my boyfriend' sort of song to me :D. Incest ftw obv. :p.
