the dam centaurs

hi glad ive found this forum ive been trying to kill these dam centaurs for weeks now and its spoilt the game ive tryed copying wot the pro does on the you tube vid but cant get it together is there any other way before i skim the game and the ps2 in the sea

Once you do time trial for Tomb of Tihocan, you will see how easy the boss actually was!

Anyway these are what the pros on Youtube are doing:

1. Keep dodging from the flame attacks by left/right rolling.
2. Keep shooting with good weapons like the Silver Uzi, shotgun, or the black dual pistols.
3. Be successful when they get the chance to do an adrenaline dodge after the centaur's rage built up.
4. Not get turned into shone - by simply not aiming at them when the centaurs do their colorful spell attack.
5. Grab the shield with the grapple as soon as you get the chance to and pull it right away without hesitation.
6. Be near to the shield in preparation for when the centaurs are trying to do yet again another spell attack by shooting at them.
7. Now pick up the shield, and position the camera properly to turn them into stone!

I'm really wondering how many people have problems with centaurs.

1 you can just crouch
2 you can jump into the water
3 just throw your hook

The proper way is to not aim at them, like how you wouldn't want to look at Medusa. This is common mythological and cartoonish behaviour, eepecially in DBZ.

I was thinking of a glitch where you aim at them when they do their stone attack after you jump into the water!

I gave up with the centaur fight on the PS2 as it was doing my head in, as I hate the adrenaline dodge :hea:

As the battle is at the end of the level, you are not missing much by jumping into the next level. But puting new savepoints into a PS2 is not as easy as a PC.

METHOD 1...
I used the following program to convert savepoints and get them into the PS2 memory card using a USB flash memory stick.

METHOD 2...
A few months ago I came across a game magazine in the shops with the Anniversary savepoints to each level. So I could transfer these PS2 savepoints from a game magazine disk directly into the PS2 memory card.

If there was a PS2 level skip cheat, you would not have to do the above. But it does not exist ????

Why you people trying to cheat out the game? If you cheat now, you will most likely going to cheat again and the game would be a waste of money. This is not like other games like Bomberman where there is unlimited fun.

The fun considered in platform action/adventure puzzles game lies in the level designs, and you want to skip them? Anyway, when you reach Egypt - Obelisk and Temple of Khamoon is going to be hard!
