Cause if any artist is "thin" when they gain weight... its strange and hard for people to accept and then the artist knows that she is being criticized and goes back to their old shape...

However, if you look at Adele... no one makes a big deal cause she's always been that size...

Jennifer Hudson made an effort... and I bet you that if she went and gained all the weight she used to have back... people would make a big deal about it... ;)

Christina is recieving huge positive feedback from medias about her new look. She needs to use it as a part of promo for her new music! It all looks like a plan. Showing herself all hot n´ sexy and then release song as Love Your Body. Sometimes I wonder if she didn´t gain weight on purpose...

I don´t know, but even negative promo is still promo. Last year, media were interesting in her size and The Voice mainly, nothing else. And now when she lost the weight she gets positive promo and that´s what she needs to start promoting new album. She wouldn´t get that much attention if she were the same size all the time.
I´m not sure if it works like this all around the world, but here, in my country, weight of celebrities is a big topic. You could easily find more articles about Christina gaining and losing weight than about Bionic release. Media here are so desperate...

In an interview with the show's correspondent, Christina Milian, Xtina opened up about her long-delayed next project, the follow-up to 2010's Bionic, which spawned the single "Not Myself Tonight."

"My album, what's going on with that?" she said. "Well, I started [it] whenever I started this show, and then [the show] kind of took off into this big thing. So the show used to be a side project [and it] kind of turned into a bigger time-fulfilling, dedicated project for me."

While Aguilera hasn't released new material of her own in almost two years, she did make chart waves appearing alongside fellow "Voice" judge Adam Levine on the hit Maroon 5 single "Moves Like Jagger." While that track leaned toward '70s-style rock and pop, fans will have to wait until later this year to find out what sounds Aguilera will be channeling on this next album.

And considering her résumé has included straight-ahead pop, dirty pop'n'b, big band-influenced music and even futuristic pop, anything's possible. But she did promise one thing: It's going to be "amazing."

"I've been in the studio, hard at work," she said. "Different producers I'm working with have just excited me so much and have given me amazing tracks and beats and material I've been writing to and [with] writing partners. It's just filled with fun and excitement, and it's gonna come out later this year, and I'm very, very excited to share it with my fans, finally."

Its currently at #11 (from outside the top 40) on itunes, so I think you might be a bit off there :pLaserlight will be a huge hit imo, even my sister loves it and she hates Jessie J (but on the other side, she hates all the artists I listen to, so...:p).

Anyway, I personally HATE Laserlight. It's so awful I can't at its awfulity[/new word]. I love Jessie but I kinda prefer when she's not oversinging, I kinda prefer when she's not Jessie but she's the "Katy wannabe". Domino is her best song along with Price Tag, that's the path she should stick to. She's flawless when she does this type of songs.

I ****ing love it. I've loved it since it's release and my opinion of it hasn't changed since.

On another note; I was watching the VMA 2003 (or 02') performance with Madonna and Britney and I realised that Xtina clearly owned the performance. Her rendition of 'Like A Virgin' is perfection. Her voice suits it so much and she was so cute in that performance.

On another note; I was watching the VMA 2003 (or 02') performance with Madonna and Britney and I realised that Xtina clearly owned the performance. Her rendition of 'Like A Virgin' is perfection. Her voice suits it so much and she was so cute in that performance.
It's a shame that people tend to forget X was also a part of that performance. :(

Mi Reflejo isn´t bad. I would welcome more latin dance tracks like the amazing Falsas Esperanzas, but it has some gems like Pero Me Acuerdo De Tí.
And the only track I dislike from Bionic is My Girls...what was she thinking? It´s even worse than the generic teen-sounding I Hate Boys. Little Dreamer should have been place as track n. 17.

Burlesque may not be the best musical of all time but X's vocals and performance made it flawlessly worth the time. She was so cute, hot and classy in the movie.

On a different note, I'm really impressed she could lose that much weight in such little time. Someone's really Loving Their Body. :)

She losing weight gives her a more sexy look in the film. But she being only 5 ft 2 or only 5 ft 1 makes her small.
