i have a feeling we'd get about 10(crap... I need about 60!! :cen: ), anyway. what 2 outfit MUST make a return and why:
The legend outfit. It was new, It was innovative, and it shows of Lara's curves with colors that work for her.
The Tomb Raider 2/3 Standard outfit. Its how we like our Lara. Plus there something so Hardcore and bad ass about it!!
I think TRA and TRL ones would be unlockable...the rest? Who knows.
I just hope we won't get 15 outfits + 18 color variations (as we had in Legend).

I'd love to see her outfit from TRA and her TR2 bomber jacket make a return. Those were two of my favorite outfits. :)
I liked the casual Angel of Darkness outfit. A black top with blue jean jacket and pants.
The only thing I'd really like to see as far as outfits are concerned would be that thing she wears in the FMV right before the first level in TR1.
I'd like to see her wearing that. Not necessarily during gameplay. A nice little nod to the original.
I would like to have the swimsuit from TRAOD. It looks great IMO. But the normal outfit from TRAOD wouldn't damage either (black top and long army pants) ...

Why on earth do you need 60? The outfits are the worst thing about the new games IMO. If you wanna change her outfit 60 times, just play Legend.
Two that have to make an appearence.. Hmm..
Classic, and .. whatever.
I'm just glad they seem to have ditched legend's potato sack of an outfit, in favour of something darker and better. :)

I hope the unlockable outfits in Underworld will be leaning more on the qualitative (Anniversary) rather than the quantitative (Legend). Like what the others have said, it's given that we'll get to unlock the Classic outfit and the Legend outfit. I have a strong feeling though that we'll also get Camouflage (AoD).
I want to see the Classic Outfit & Legend Outfit in these graphics. Any other outfits are welcome, I don't let them affect the gameplay.

I think there should be more than one outfit in the game itself, designed specialy for the level enviroment (shorts for jungle, jackets for snow, etc.), but the dresses and suits just don't have a point.

When CD makes outfits, they don't put the entire team on it. I'm positive that they have designers for that.
They focus on what their task is, while the others focus on what they will do.
I think outfits are neat. (Except stuff like Natla, Amanda, golden and bacon Lara though)

I really have no problem with unlockable outfits, so I can't say I'd be heart broken if they weren't included, but equally, I can't say I'll be boycotting the game if they are included.

If it is legend's sequel we should get all those that were in legend plus more others.

I would like to see every single outfit she has worn in the past games. If I had to chose two I would chose the wetsuit from tr2 and tr1/2 classic outfit.
I'd like to see the TR1 outfit as an unlockable, and the Nevada outfit, man... I loved that thing! :D
And if I could add another it would be the TR AOD camo panted outfit.

I want different outfits in game when she'll go in different locations, and a lot of unlockable other outfits with Legend and the classic / Anniversary ones included. :)
I just hope there will be a lot of various outfits in Underworld.
I know a lot of persons have complained about the bunch of outfits we had in Legend and that's probably why we had only 10 different outfits only in Anniversary.
For me all these additionnal outfits aren't pointless, they really add some replay value to the game.
Something of the formula of Legend would be nice for unlockables. Something utilitarian, something sexy, and something out of this world. :D

like in TR3: classic, mansion, Nevada, South Pacific, Winter one, London Catsuit.
so they have meaning to them. so far is the Underworld one, and i guess Classic as an unlockable, a Wetsuit, a catsuit, a home one, and a winter one.
and no Legend, the Underworld one is better than the Legend one.
I do hope we get a lot of outfits, but actual different ones, not the bunch of colorations
I don't what the new TRU outfit in 5 extra different colors
the 2 outifts that must be back you say, I guess the most likely would be Legend and Anniversary/Classic
but I would love others as: Wetsuit / Catsuit / Snowsuit / Bikini / Young Lara (TR4,TR5)

I just want outfits based on the climate she visits.. And when completing the level, maybe unlock a different colour or style ; from the same outfit. I don't want to finish the game, and unlock a bikini.. Come on. :p

Two outfits that should return as unlockables are the classic outfit (TRA version with a teal top rather than blue), and the TR2 wetsuit (or the Raziel wetsuit from TRA :p).
Runners-up are the AOD camouflage outfit (with pants or shorts), the AOD wetsuit, and the Winter without a coat outfit from Legend :)
I love the TRU outfit so far. I'm still not sure if it's black or really dark brown. I hope it's black. I think it's more her colour and blends in better with the environment we've seen so far.

I agree with you. Unlockable outfits are not that important to me - I hardly replay levels with another outfit. I would rather see other extras.

I get bored because the game is boring. Not because I can't have that fluffy pink barbie outfit or gothic emo one where she has cut her wrists and like has a fake tear from her eye! :rolleyes: Other extras are welcome. For some reason I'd really like to see some sort of dark "shadow lara". Like if she became corrupted or something. I also think some armor would be cool, just for the heck of it.

I loved the goth outfits. Probally my favorite! Well Legend Black/ Classic is probally my favorite. But the goth outfits were awesome IMO.

I think there'll be less than in Legend and more in Anniversary, at least I hope so, there were only few in Anniversary, and they were all lame, why would I wanna play as a skinless person, yuck.
I'm hoping they aim for TR2 classic and Winter jacket styles with a black catsuit. Those are all I really need. :D

I don't mind what they do as long as they don't repeat the same outfit in different colours. e.g. Legend & Winter oufits :( it will allow more modding possiblities (if it is even moddable at all). we will just have to wait and see!

ooo unlockable weapons would be tight. I liked the desert eagle and harpoon gun...so why not make it unlockable for TRU? That would be cool. As far as outfits go...well I really dont care too much. The ones from TRA were alright, the ones from TRL werent too bad. I mean what else can we expect Lara to wear while she raids. An over-sized t-shirt with "TR" in white bold letters on it, sweats, and flip flops? sheesh lol:D

Yeah, I havent thought about that much TBH.
I've always pictured Lara as mono-layered in terms of clothing.
It would be awesome to see her jumping from rooftop to rooftop in
some urban setting wering a trench coat, or even in some other location
wearing some sort of dress.
I wouldn't mind something casual... like jeans, skate shoes and a hoodie :D
I would like to see a simple dress as an unlockable - NOT Legend's ultra-skimpy one, but something classier. Apart from that, the only outfits that I would really like to see are the ones that are appropriate to the levels: a winter outfit for snowy levels (though it would be nice if the jacket was the bomber jacket from TR2 :D), a catsuit for urban and/or stealth-type levels, a gym outfit for training in the mansion, etc.

You're right though there Jeffrey. Considering we can mod, the outfit change doesn't really matter anymore. I'm not one to care for what she wears after completing the game. It's only the main outfit that concerns me - and I'm loving the new gear ;) The camera when taking the screen shots seem to like the outfit as well. :D

The legend outfit. It was new, It was innovative, and it shows of Lara's curves with colors that work for her.
The Tomb Raider 2/3 Standard outfit. Its how we like our Lara. Plus there something so Hardcore and bad ass about it!!
I know I'm going to get response backlashes for this, but it's true so... I thought Lara looked really hot in the Tomb Raider Legend out fit, with army green shorts, and the pink top.I know that is not at all a good color scheme as her main outfit, but as a variable outfit, I loved it! :) Show her sexy & sweet side more. So I actually love the color variables, and I hope they are back.
I also loved her winter outfit, coat and/or sweater. She definately should dress to the temperature of her surroundings. Since they are making the games more realistic, she will no doubt continue to bundle up when it's cold, a strip down when it's hot! :)

Well okay I think one thing that I dont remember seeing is Lara wearing jeans. Why not have her wearing jeans, a baby t, some what tennis shoes, and maybe a black leather jacket or bomber pilot coat. That not only be simple and casual but also sleek and stylish depending on what kind of jacket and jeans. :)
