What music makes your hair stand on end and gives you chills? For me it would be the entire LotR trilogy soundtrack.

I think ya'll misunderstanding me. I meant what music gives you chills because you like it. Am I the only one that happens to?

Well, since the title is misleading, I think you should change the purpose of this thread to music or sounds. Limiting chills to music is a bit boring; the thread'll be much more interesting if you open it up to any sound, regardless of whether or not it's "composed" or purely accidental.

Music-wise, James Newton Howard's score from The Village gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

But, the sound of trees twisting and creaking in the wind does it for me every time.

ok,ok I'm expanding it to any sound then. The trees do it for me, too. Same as the Signs soundtrack.

He/She means like music peoples. Like classical music with screechy violins, or Hip-Hop with high-pitched sound effects. That kind of thing.:hea:

I wouldn't say "chills" but any high pitch noise is quite annoying to me, ie: fingernails on a chalkboard, metal scraping on metal, etc.

A screaming baby.

Once we had ER on in the living room, I was sitting in my room, and there was a baby crying really loudly in it, people crying, and I just couldn't concentrate on my work. I felt like I was going to join them.

I have no idea why, it's like some motherly instinct that jumps up... But when I hear a baby cry I just want to rush in and save it. :/

Evanescence
Within Temptation
Lacuna Coil
Linkin Park hehe

Because of their beauty or freakiness? :p

If we're going to go into any music, I'd say any song that's got me hooked at that certain moment.
