Click here to read. (http://www.msnbc.com/news/942934.asp?cp1=1#BODY) I don't think Lara needs a guy but that's my opinion and I hope it stays that way. Post your thoughts.

TLR...I have to side with Annacia. Are you intimating that Lara Croft has no common sense? That's blasphemous. It is contemptuous, irreverent and impious. Need you be reminded that Ms. Croft is inviolable and sacrosanct?

:D

It's not like anything world altering such as an affair in a high posistion is going on. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

The media has thier priorities.

What do you mean tlr online - common sense.
This sounds a bit pragmatic.

Do you mean to tell us that making use of a man after an exhilarating adventure is a great relaxer and causes a good sleep?? :D

The important and rare trick for a woman is remain a free spirit and not be focused on having to find a man.
There just aren't enough decent ones to go around.

If she can find a fine temporary or life partner she is lucky.
There are some good guys around, but she should be consequent enough to face the reality of what her guy is really like behind his social fassade.

A man needs a woman more
than a woman needs a man

That has got to be a fact :D

It is interesting to know that research on gender differences has shown that individual differences are much larger that gender differences.

Consider for yourselves the connection between a regard for human rights and gender equality, economic prosperity, progressive laws, safety and sanity when you look at different countries.

It is very good in Scandinavian countries; Germany is falling behind in the long run, because the old males and "among ourselves" structures haven't been reformed.

Countries where the tendency to regard women as inferior humans is strongest are only prosperous financially if they have oil.

It is no coincidence that the "women into the kitchen and childbed" thinking was promoted very much under the nazi dictatorship.

These indicators are part of a structure.

Structural violence is not abstract, but has strong, destructive and wasteful consequences in practice.

I think that Lara and Kurtis are great for each other. If Crystal keep him in the games they'll make him better than Core for sure. And all these things for Lara - yes, she is a strong women and much more - but she's 35 years. How long she will be in the game industry. If she's like a real human then she will get older. I think that it will be better if she have baby - a daughter maybe - and we all can play with the girl.

Now I am a natural loner as you know...I don't feel lonely like many living my lifestyle would. I have never wished for a man and I would like to tell you one little observation I have found. When one doesn't seem to fall in love, everyone around them develops an obsession with the idea of them falling in love. As with Lara, there's a plethora of fan fiction out there that introduce love interests. In my own situation, there is constant and tedious speculation from those around me about "what if you find someone."

Maybe Lara's like me and feels able to stand on her own two feet and have fun without a man to lean on. When you have strong ambitions like Lara and to a large extent like myself then you don't sit there worrying about anything more other than how to get what you want. Your goals and dreams become the the lover that seduces and caresses you and the child that cries for your attention.

I think Lara should remain a free spirit, as it is because of that aspect of her personality that people aren't as frightened of me. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif It would be nice for me personally to have a "side kick" but the demands of my lifestyle and mindset are just too much for anyone and I'm not lonely yet. It would also be nice to have a million pound and have super powers but I can live a happy life without them and don't long for them. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif The different between longing and wanting is that longing rips to the core of your soul. The only things I long for are exciting things. I think that Lara should remain single and break the mould/stereotype of "every girl needs a prince."

Hey tlr online, not always, but
most often the woman keeps the common sense in a relationship.

Anyway - the partnership question is entirely up to Lara! ;)

break the mould/stereotype of "every girl needs a prince."[/QB][/QUOTE]

We certainly need to break that stereotype - indeed.

Having a partner on the other hand shouldn't mean leaning on him or getting your style cramped by him.
Many might try to manipulate you in this manner.

Then throw him out in a high arch, but don't let him reach orbit.
There's already too much trash up there.

I believe as far as love goes in fate-I do not hunt it but if someone who I actually liked as a permanent feature in my life showed up, I'd welcome them. However, they must realise what they are letting themselves in for and that being my sidekick is no soft option.

I know I wouldn't go for a pretty face but the most beautiful things in a human being are an open mind, tolerance, love of animals, love of water, loyalty, a passion in life and a strong sense of adventure.
