View Full Version : How long did it take for your xbox to be repaired?

I know a lot of people on here have had the red ring problems with their 360s, and mine broke last saturday, right before christmas, which was terrible because I haven't been able to play any of the games I got over the holiday.

I'm not impatient, but I'm worried that they haven't recieved my request. My friend got his box in 3 days, and got his new xbox in 8. I haven't gotten my box to mail it back in yet, and its been over a week.

So how long did it take for you guys's to be fixed?

It took 2 weeks for me. And the same for all my friends.

My god some brazilian magazines report that issue too. So, is it worth buying an X360, after all those problems?? :confused:

The newer models of Xbox360 have a updated cooling system. So it won't happend. And it has 3 years warranty so you will get a new if it happends.

MY relative have one and he told me that his was repaired for 3 weeks

Fortunately, I haven't had any problems with my 360 yet. Hope it gets fixed soon, Soma.

Got a refund after number 8.


Most times vary.. but i think that its substantially better turn around time in the UK than America simply because of the distance. I live.. about 30 minutes away from the repair center, which is based in Havant.

2 weeks, the once time the reparation could be fixed. The other error I got causing me to not be able to play at all wasn't supported by the warranty. :o

The Wii owns 360 anyway. (Just, why couldn't Nintendo support DVD's and multiplayer?! :cen:)

LOL, anyway, I hope they'll update the Wii so it supports DVD and multiplayer, then. :p
