The Toxic superstar, 22, has been struggling to cope with her huge workload as she continues her Onyx Hotel tour in Europe, and sources close to Britney fear the situation is only going to get worse.

Britney is reportedly desperate to return home to her mother Lynne after suffering the worst reviews of her career for the raunchy stage show. But with contractual obligations preventing her from ditching the tour, miserable Britney is getting more and more depressed.

And the depth of her anguish was clearly demonstrated when she ran off the stage in the German capital and fled to a waiting car, before ignoring fans as she ran into her hotel.

A source tells British newspaper the Sun, "Dozens of fans were waiting for her outside the hotel.

"She rushed straight past them with her baseball cap pulled right down over her eyes. But everyone could see she had been crying her eyes out on the limo journey. Her mascara was streaming down her face."

The Me Against the Music singer has now taken her tour to France.

Britney blubs in Berlin
Last updated 19 May 2004

While reports say that Britney Spears left her Berlin gig in tears and ignored fans, her followers have been given the chance to bid for the ultimate Britney experience.

The star, who is said to have rushed out of the concert while the music was still playing, is offering the experience with the Onyx Hotel in Boston to raise money for the Britney Spears Foundation.

Online bidding has already started at $5,000 and the closing date is 11 June.

The highest bidder will get two round-trip domestic airline tickets to Boston from anywhere in the USA and two nights stay at the Onyx Hotel. One night will be as the first guests in the Britney Spears Foundation Room, which is designed by Britney's mum in the style of the singer's bedroom at home in Louisiana.

And it doesn't stop there, the winner will also enjoy dinner for two, two front row tickets to Britney's 23 June gig, limo service to and from the concert, a backstage tour, official concert T-shirts, a basket of Britney CDs and her favourite bubble baths, an autographed picture, breakfast for two the morning after and late check-out!

Reports are suggesting that as part of the ultimate Britney experince there may also be a chance of actually meeting Ms Spears herself!

Visit www.OnyxHotel.com (http://www.OnyxHotel.com) to make a bid.

If it's true I hope she's ok. Then again, I can never trust these big stars http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif

I'm not a Britney fan , but I do feel for her. She seems really confused and sad in her life right now, and I do hope she feels better. :(

Ha ha ha!!!

Aaaw...diddums.

No, I feel for her, I really do. All those millions in the bank and no time to spend it.

Still, I'm sure the fans weren't let down - it's all just mimed anyway, so they just left the disc running with her autotuned voice still echoing round the hall...

If contractual obligations are preventing her from going home then that's harsh, but Britney needs to start taking some responsibility for herself and demanding more imput into what dates she does and in what places etc. Furthermore, if she's fed of this game then once her latest tour is over maybe she should think about retiring from music and doing something else. It's not like she's gonna starve to death if her next career choice doesn't fare as well as the musical one.

I don't understand how celebrities can be so unhappy.

If she doesn't want to do this concert and she wants to go home, then she should do it!

Give everyone there money back, and go home.

Give everyone there money back, and go home. But the thing is that it would upset their fans, and she would be loosing the fans, which buy her stuff. No fans = No Money.

i dont really like her much, but i feel bad :( hopefully she has a therapist she can call or fly out to be with her. she probably just needs a friend or someone to talk to. if i was a singer and on tour by myself away from my family and friends, id get pretty depressed too.

I think she probably feels alone and feels like she has an emptiness in her life. I feel sorry for her. :( And I knwo every one is entitled to their own oppinion but whoever said somethng like, " Yeah I feel sorry for her, she has millions of dollars and bla bla bla". I don't think that makes sense, because money does not buy happiness. Her situation proves that. But I'm not trying to be rude to whoever said that, I've said some rude things about Britney before so I can't say what you said was wrong. lol. I think Britney just needs a break though, she needs to spend some time with her family and friends without being followed around by a camera all the time. I bet that would help her some.
