A heart-warming story of the advances of women in achieving equality throughout the world...

Barbara Walters of 60 Minutes (USA) did a story on gender roles in Kabul several years before the Afghan conflict. She noted that women customarily walked about ten paces behind their husbands. She returned to Kabul recently and observed that the men now walked several paces behind their wives.

Ms Walters approached one of the Afghani women and said. "This is marvellous. Can you tell the free world just what enabled women to achieve this reversal of roles?"

"Land mines," said the woman.

Hiya George, how have you been? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Hiya Rommie sweetheart, lovely to see you again young lady.

I've been busy. I'm editing a novel for a mate of mine down in Australia. He's been editing my work too, so I've been checking out his comments.

Our sensei is going for his 3rd Dan soon, and last night I had the 'privilege' of training privately with him. My body isn't very happy with me this morning.

I also just bought Partition Magic, so I've been having fun reformatting my hard drive and setting it up with 3 primary partitions and two operating systems. Finally, I've got things the way I wanted them, and those rooms in the level editor have stopped spinning! Not sure how I've survived so long without PM actually.

I'm on a high today after reading about Eidos dumping Core and moving the future of Tomb Raider to the US. I take back everything I ever said about Eidos. It was a brilliant, courageous move. Maybe now we'll get our beloved Lara back and be able to go proper raiding again.

Anyway, lovely to see you. Have fun. And hello to all my other great friends here.

Don't want to hurt your sensible male soul, George, but I heard this joke about two decades ago about the Palestinians...

Listen George you've had more that a go or two at Veggies and women in general! At times you are rude and thoughtless and have been just plain crude! this is an old joke but it's chauvinistic and mean.

We do try to be easy to get along with here and it somtimes feels as if you take advantage of that. If you have had trouble with a woman in the past (as it sounds) that is perhaps the result of your small mind and atitude.

Men and women have been a great working arrangement since the dawn of time. Don't mess with it George!

Some of us tire of the piggie rhetoric!

A joke is just that, a joke. If you can't take a joke, that's your problem, not mine.
