I'm back! Did ya miss me? Nah, didn't think so. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Okay, since loads of people are going on and coming back from holiday, I've decided to start this thread specifically for holidaygoers to tell us what they did, and post photos (if any). I'll upload my photos as soon as I can, 'cos I'm just back. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif No more German tourists!
I'm back early from my biking trip in the north of Scotland because one of our bikes' bearings went in the back wheel and it wouldn't spin right. So we just came home early, but it was kind of a relief because of the bugs and the weather. I took several photos of landscape and so on, but *somebody* decided to erase them from the digital camera to make room for pictures of seaweed, me & co. and starfish. Yesterday, in an Inverness hostel at dinnertime, there was a busload of Germans having dinner in the small dining room, and they had beer. A boy about fifteen and an older man about fifty maybe started a fight, and from what I heard according to my limited German vocabulary it sounded like the man was screaming at the boy not to nick other peoples' food and so on. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
I'll have to get used to all of your new avatars, it's like as soon as you knew I was gone you all switched them lemming-style. :D

What can I say? You are a sterling example of haute couture. All we can do is strive to keep up with your trends ;)

I have a goodly supply of coffee for you gecko!

I tried to beat Kam's avatar for pure weirdness, but as soon as I changed it I found out that he'd changed his too and it's not weird enough any more. And I succeeded in not falling off the bike into a ditch and dying and being left to the alsations (read Birdget Jones' Diary http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif ) but I did manage to be half eaten alive by those little flying pirhanas... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/bash.gif

Someone mentioned coffee? I crave caffeine, I forgot to bring any on holiday and all Mace had was instant Decaf!

Did you go to floor when you got home?

30-07-03, 23:58
I haven't yet got to floor, no, but my mattress is still lying vertical and out of use... NOT THAT I MIND!!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif There's a pile of blankets and cushions on the floor where I dropped them when I arrived back and the room's warm, so there's no need for a blanket. From where I'm positioned, if I just stand up I can collapse straight onto floor and sleep whichever way up I land... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
