This pops up whenever I use a web browser. Whenever. Whether it be IE, Firefox, Opera...

Does anyone know how I turn this off?

Hmmm..Have you gotten the "Echap" key not working or something else ? Because it seems like it gets cancelled by itself.

1. Run ARDiag.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/ardiag.exe) and post the report.

2. Do you use a firewall/antivirus with firewall?

3. Is Windows Firewall service active? Better disable it.

Windows Firewall is basically all I use. Nothing else. When I click the link, it goes to a 404. When I save the link as an application and open it, Terminal opens for a split second then closes. I've scanned for viruses, but nothing. Just using Windows Defender, though.

You mean the command prompt. And that does sound like spyware to me. Try giving it a scan with Spybot:S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html) and see if anything comes up.

And if I was you, I would disable the Windows Firewall and use a proper one instead, it is recommended and will be much safer. I suggest you use ZoneAlarm, which you can download from here: http://filehippo.com/download/53209b7100e1958beccc090dae7a49b6/download/

^ Or download any version of Zone Alarm you like from HERE (http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/trial_zaFamily/trial_zaFamily.jsp?dc=12bms&ctry=RU&lang=ru&lid=db_trial). You can then register it after trying for 15 days (they also have FREE version).
