That's got to be the best 2001 cover I've seen. Beautiful! I think we're getting something like this here two, which sucks for people like me who already bought all the dvds in their "normal" Stanley Kubrick collection editions.

Plus it's a frigin box set. If I could find the 2001 alone I would buy it since it's my favorite.. Meh :(

This collection was all around the stores here this christmas. Weird that it's coming to the UK this late. :pi:

EDIT: Maybe it was a different collection, but I'm sure the boxset looked exactly the same.

The Region 1 and Australian Special Edition boxsets have been around since October. ;)

The boxset artwork is different, though (at least the Region 1 version, not too sure about the Australian one.)

And we're in region 2 as well, and I'm pretty sure the cover with symbols for each film was on this one as well. Oh well, not that it matters anyway. :o :p

Unfortunately I don't think they are here. Portugal stores are full of little schemes like this lol :pi:

To be honest though, I would be happy a special edition of full metal jacket. I think it was Stanley's greatest movie.

Any idea if A Clockwork Orange will be included on the UK version of this, since it was banned here and I'm not sure if its been "unbanned" as it were.....

I suppose there would be no reason for it not to be included, as it has had quite a few TV listings recently.

I might try and get this, since I haven't seen 2001 fully and also I haven't seen Full Metal Jacket at all...

Love The Shining and A Clockwork Orange though :)

The film was unbanned and released on DVD in 2000 the year after the director's death. :p
