@legend of lara, same with me, also opera its as good as Firefox.

What's wrong with Internet Explorer? :( :p

i could make a 2 page argument if you want, but i will just stick a resumed version:

-First, its the most insecure and most vulnerable browser out there;
-Second, IE/M$ don't want to follow W3C standards in rendering a webpage, which give a pain in the ass to webmasters to develop their page.
-third, Firefox render engine is faster in most page than IE.
-fourth, IE don't have a so good plugin system that firefox users has, as you can find thousand of plugins for the browser for customization.
-Five, just look how bloated IE is, the download is 14 or 11MB in which firefox is only 5 MB.

There isn't any best, just one that's best for your purpose. In general, any but Internet Explorer will do. Firefox is really the obvious choice, if you want to try only one, try that one. Other choices include Opera (didn't try it for a very long time), SeaMonkey (Firefox rendering engine, but includes all stuff like E-mail right in the program. I think it's too bloated), Apple's Safari which now also has a Windows version (I think it needs more work before it'll be useful on Windows) and some others.

i don't think it will die, just look at IE market and also how M$ claim that the users is very happy because the numbers talk by own, this is a bull****, this market share is because IE is packed with windows and not everyone know about computers to download other browsers, so they just stick of what came from the OS. It would be funny to see the market share if Firefox is packed with windows.

I meant when IE died on my computer. I didn't mean it died as in people stopped using it.

What's wrong with Internet Explorer? :( :p

Internet Explorer does not render websites as it should, and has been (and still is, and actually actively plans to be) an obstacle towards getting a web that really works for everyone. That's the main wrong thing.

Other points include security (Microsoft has improved their track record, no doubt, but without ActiveX at all, you're always a little more safe) and stupidity (People who need to be told that they just opened a new tab shouldn't be using the internet in the first place).

Agreed. My webpage's images show up wrong while in firefox it shows as how it should be.

I tihnk the new IE is even worse, the tabs system is just... strange and it works so slow. Firefox is simply great.

Opera.
Fact is that it's the fastest and most secure browser on the market at the moment, and most of the things you need plug-ins for in Firefox are already built in, and still it uses significantly less RAM than Firefox does.
Also, the mouse gestures are absolutely awesome. I would never want to use a browser without them anymore.

How so? The interface on the new version is horrible and hard to navigate. Plus, it still fails to meet W3 standards, making life harder for web designers as it still doesn't render pages properly.
