HI peeps
JUST wondering if you guys thought that...after underworld dies down
in a year or so....they should remake tomb raider 2,for laras fifteenth anniversary???
wat would think of that?

Im not sure, on one hand i would like to just get on with the series but on the other... Venice in nex-gen:cln::cln:

No. Making 'several' remakes would not look good for Tomb Raider.
In when (If) TR celebrates 20 years, I'd be moer open for the idea. ;)

Exactly! And just like your signature, I don't think I could face a "30% Temple of Xian", or having the two diving rig levels combined (and then shortened some more). So I'd say no. I'd like to remember tr2 for the way it was.

I'd love a TRII remake!But not all levels,only the more important ones.But only on TR's 15th or 20th anniversary:)

Anniversary made me play TR1, so remake of TR2 would make me play TR2 :p (my first TR was TR3 :o)

(Don't get me wrong, huge improvement over legend! But compared to the material it tried to remake, it was a big No-no, because of the amount they cut out. I wouldn't want TR2 to get the same treatment. *Has horrifying visions of a butchered Temple of Xian*)

*Has nightmares of the spidercave filled with invisible walls, millions of spiders repeated from a hole in the wall, poles, and to grapple your way up past the giant egg thingy. Plus the whole temple butchered into a small, easy, enemy riddled, timed ledge LEVEL!
Sorry. Had to let that out of my system. TRA was great though, better than Legend. :)

That's my nightmare for that whole level, and I can't even imagine floating islands! Not to mention the ship levels would probably be condensed to two short levels. I actually did like Anniversary, because it touched up on the faults of Legend, but what disappointed me was the shortening of so many parts.

Maybe for the 20th anni in 8 years. But right now I'd just love them to focus fully on TRU and TR9. Preferably TR9 and making it really long.
If they do make an remake of TR2, it needs to be a complete remake.

Is TRU the third game of the LEGEND STORY or the second? If the second, TR9 will turn on with the Legend story! I don't like that! :D

l would love it if they remade the most successful of the Tomb Raider games in between TR8 and TR9, but l would see no reason to ever remake any of the other games released after Tomb Raider 2.
If TR2 ain't broken, don't fix it.

Nope. Not at all. TRA is okay as a standalone remake and if they remade TR2 they'd just be treading in forbidden waters. There are certain things in the games that can't be remade successfully (in my opinion this includes torso) and I think the dragon would just be horrific.
Jeez no more remakes. One was enough. I want new adventures.

TR is my most favourite game of all times . And I have not clear vison of whether it should be remked. But on is for sure
The feeling of playing TR2 won't be the same ever again even if THE remake is as good as Assassinss creed :)
And it's not because of the remake it's because we've changed since we've played this Brilliant game :o

a remake i would like...if they created it again it would be gr8

we asked for amuch longer game after legend and they chopped anniversary up...????why???:(
I would love a remake of the second game. I'm not a big fan of playing the old games because I hate using the arrows and it's even harder trying to use the control stick. So, I think it would be good in a couple of years, but not soon.

exactly what i think except they should wait untill its the 20th anniversary first if tomb raider is still going strong by then!
